What was the scope of their involvement?

Respondent 1: FLDTRACE created code for the backend of our WordPress website.

Respondent 2: Their team has worked on the three iterations of our website. We’re designers, so we’ve designed the frontend and they’ve written the backend code.

Respondent 1: We had direct contact with the company's owner, Lucien (Owner and Founder, FLDTRACE). Besides that, we didn’t have contact with any other employees. I’m sure that his team worked on multiple aspects of the projects as well.

How did you come to work with FLDTRACE?

Respondent 2: Our company started working with them close to five years ago. I’m not sure how the initial search functioned. We reached out to a few companies. FLDTRACE had competitive pricing and quick turnaround times, so that’s why we decided to go with them. We’ve maintained the relationship ever since.

How much have you invested with them?

Respondent 2: For the several iterations, we’ve spent around $47,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Respondent 2: The initial collaboration began five years ago. We worked together on the website's second iteration about three years ago. A year ago, they helped to build the current iteration. We’re still in communication with Lucien.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Respondent 1: We’ve provided designs to their team and FLDTRACE has been good at following the visuals in the backend as well as what’s visible on a browser.

Respondent 2: They did a wonderful job with attention to detail. We’ve had direct feedback from a few clients that our new website looks great. FLDTRACE has worked really hard and fast to meet our deadline in ways that other companies wouldn’t have been able to accommodate. It was a big initiative that their team completed successfully.

How did FLDTRACE perform from a project management standpoint?

Respondent 1: Their team has used Trello as a communication platform, which has helped us keep content in one spot. We could also send them screenshots of designs to help visualize ideas and make it easier for them to understand our questions or comments on certain components of the project. FLDTRACE has managed timelines well, which was important as this project was pushed hard internally and had to be done in a short period of time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Respondent 2: FLDTRACE was willing to accommodate timelines. When we’ve thrown deadlines out, their team has been flexible. They’ve had a close eye to design and made sure to attend to details. Their team has also provided great follow up service.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Respondent 2: For the most part, we’re really happy about it. A challenge was our accessibility to the website. We'd assumed that we were going to be able to customize it in ways that we couldn't. This was partly our fault because of the push for a quick turnaround. But the communication that we were moving away from what we'd expected wasn’t there.

I’m one of the owners of Carter’s My Plumber. As a plumbing business based in Greenwood, Indiana, we service residential customers.

To remain competitive in a saturated market, we needed to redesign our website and conduct SEO work. We needed to compete at a higher level through our website since there are many plumbing options in the Indianapolis area.

They redesigned our WordPress website and implemented SEO strategy. They targeted critical keywords to increase our DA.

I just worked with Lucian (Owner, FLDTRACE).

How did you come to work with FLDTRACE?

Before we approached them, we had gone through about a dozen different agencies, trying to find the right one for us.

I had worked with someone else to design another website for a side project, and this person had recommended FLDTRACE for comprehensive design and SEO services.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent somewhere around $35,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began in March of 2017, and it’s an ongoing relationship where they continuously execute SEO efforts.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to their work, our domain authority has risen from 18 to 36. We’re now ranking first in the local market for plumbing services. While we were previously listed on the eighth Google page, we’re now featured on the second one. Our website that he’s created and now maintains is also very appealing.

How did FLDTRACE perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve never missed a deadline. He manages a very helpful to-do list so we always know where we stand. We use Trello to communicate and to track tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

His design capabilities are very high. Lucien’s sensitivity to curb appeal and eye for detail both indicate his mastery of design.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While it’s not at all a major issue, I would appreciate some other outlets for communication.

I am the owner of a photography and cinematography company.

For what projects/services did your company hire FLDTRACE?

FLDTRACE built a custom website from scratch for us and we are extremely happy with the design provided as well as the functionality and SEO implementation.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to have an easy to navigate website while providing more than one service, esthetically pleasing, SEO proficient and responsive. FLDTRACE delivered on everything and made many great suggestions that we did not even think about.

How did you select this vendor?

After many attempts at finding someone who would be able to provide us with all that we needed we finally found FLDTRACE and are so thankful to the internet and social media platforms.

FLDTRACE designed, developed and launched our entire website. Throughout the years they also did maintenance and any changes we wanted. Extremely knowledgeable and accommodating.

Lucian from FLDTRACE worked closely with my husband and I.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The client conversion due to design and SEO was and still is quiet incredible. Our brand new website was up and running in less than 3 months and I am sure it would have been launched even sooner if my husband and I would have been on top of things Lucian needed from us.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Working with Lucian was easy and fast. We communicated through emails, phone calls as well as skype.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Lucian's knowledge about esthetics, SEO and functionality is quiet impressive. On top of that he is super responsive and easy to talk to.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not really. We are extremely happy and grateful for the work he provided for us.

I’m a communications specialist for a property management company, working in McKinney, Texas.

We were building a new website for the community, aiming for a more modern, mobile-friendly interface.

What was the scope of their involvement?

FLDTRACE built our website on WordPress, taking on a lot of backend specialization and using plugins that we would not be able to achieve on our own. It was important to get the site to the level our stakeholders expected, so it was helpful to have his expertise on the backend development.

What is the team composition?

We worked directly with one person from FLDTRACE.

How did you come to work with FLDTRACE?

We first sent out an RFP to multiple developers, detailing our needs. After analyzing what they could bring to the table, we decided to hire FLDTRADE because they understood our needs and were responsive. Their team had also worked with HBO management companies in the past, and we liked the work they’d done for others. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $12,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from about April–December 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received only positive feedback on the new build. There were tons of stakeholders that needed to be pleased, from board members on the HOA to residents. Users say that our site is much easier to navigate, so they can quickly find the information they need. We’ve also seen a rise in web traffic month over month. There’re many that have never used the site before now coming on board. 

How did FLDTRACE perform from a project management standpoint?

They used Trello for project management. That allowed us to post tasks and track them on their way to completion. We were able to communicate through the interface too, and that worked very well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their intention was to make sure they understood exactly what we needed while not shying away from applying their expertise. They quickly got the basics of our needs down, helping us achieve a new level of quality.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. It was a difficult project because we had so many stakeholders to impress. FLDTRACE was super patient with our turnaround times resulting from this. That was the project’s biggest challenge, and it was on our end. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Get stakeholder and user feedback before meeting with them, so you can present them with exactly what you need. That was a great starting point for us in our effort to kick off early conversations with them.
