I am the head of marketing at a QA test automation software startup, Opkey.

Our website was dated and we needed new design and set up across our thousands of pages as SEO/site conversion is our biggest lead gen source. We needed great designers to come in and work quickly to help get us where we needed to be.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After reviewing a variety of proposals on who could be design all the templates we needed for our new site we chose ZIPL as they were very responsive and a perfect price for our startup-y budgets!

After a discovery meeting where we went through a deck we put together on what we are trying to achieve, we went over a plan of action with ZIPL and moved forward on scoping out a project. Once they came back with a price estimation that we were happy with they began to build out templates in Figma. We gave feedback as pages were built and after some quick edits we were able to pass these pages to our backend dev team.

We worked with a few resources, but primarily Julia Kisielis, their project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While we are still working with our devs to finalize the site, the designs are ready to go and we anticipate our new site will increase our site lead gen by 25%+. ZIPL was extremely fast and great with their design and sped up our expected timelines by 4 weeks.

The project manager was great and provided frequent updates. Very, very communicative.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

For how tough designers are generally to deal with, ZIPL was a breeze and their design quality is great!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Only thing that comes to mind is get more experience with Webflow so we can work again in the future!

The agency was tasked with redesigning the existing airport website. The previous site was not adaptable to different devices, so we needed a new one. The main focus was on usability, stability and consistency with the new brand identity.

The tender commission held a competition, in which more than 5 bidders participated. Zipl Web Studio creatively and with attention to detail approached the presentation of the commercial offer.

For more than four months we coordinated the final version of the design. Despite our meticulous attention to detail, Zipl gave us 4 versions of concept.

There were two specialists working with us. The head designer and developer. It was very convenient since we could discuss all the details of the process at once.

After we updated the site, we were able to effectively manage in CMS and study the user experience with the help of analytics.

Сommunication took place in messengers. That was our wish. We also met in person at our office every two weeks.

They have a great sense of taste in design concepts and trouble-free coding expertise.

The project is developing, so we divided our work into several stages. Having a site where the user gets a new experience and detailed statistics, we had a lot of things to refine. We started negotiations before the invasion of Russia. Everything depends on when the war is over since the airports in Ukraine do not operate.

Our website is unusual e-commerce. Body armor is a type of product choosing which works as a sort of constructor where you could customize your kit setting tens of elements.

First thing we checked was signification of UX/UI. Then we checked prices, quality of communication.

We started with UX conceptualization. It was collaborative work of us as a client and ZIPL. Then we worked for a while on UI. Then the guys by themself build up a backend and everything put together. It took 6 months to launch an MVP is what we have been satisfied with. Next years till now we build up tons of unique custom solutions.
