It was a very iterative and lean development process with many revisions and direction changes. The main deliverables so far have been:
1) A functional social network designed to meet the specific needs of the target users
2) All necessary integrations with third party services including SendGrid, Google, etc
3) Cooperation with other team members including Design / UX teams

The functionality of the platform with the given features was the main KPI. These have been consistently very good.

Interacting with their project manager has been a real pleasure and they have been very professional and responsive beyond all expectations. Yes the timeliness has also been superb.

They have been very flexible and patient with someone like me who is not from the tech field per se, and have redrafted the plan probably over 10 times and have been very professional and flexible for the past 12 months of working with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Zeroqode could have done differently?

Sometimes the performance of the Bubble platform causes issues with the product we are developing, and it is also sometimes hard to predict the costs and timing at the beginning. A bit more documentation about the Bubble platform (which they use) would be helpful at the earlier stages.

I reached out to ZerQode during the budgetary proposal phase of my startup. I was looking for an agency to partner with to build out the MVP for my marketplace application. They were thorough in the scoping process, and exceptionally accomodating during the proposal reviews. They had an initial prototype built before I ever signed anything, cementing my confidnce in their ability to deliver on each key feature discussed in my MVP build.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They delivered a fully functioning web application in about a third of the time of what was originally estimated. Every punch-list I submitted for edits was completed within 1-2 business days with great communcation across the board. The provided detailed checklists of all work completed along with demo videos walking me through each update and edit.

The team blew every deadline out of the water. From the initial prototype to live web app, and every edit or update in between. They accomplished every task I gave them within 2 business days, typically same day, and thoroughly communicated all actions during.

Zeroqode was exceptional at both communication and product quality. They built a prototype for me to trial before I ever signed anything, and had a smooth, excellent looking web application built in an impressively short timeframe. The team checked every box and kept me in the loop every step of the way.

This is my first time working with a web developer, but I connected with 5-6 different agencies before making a selection. I felt pretty good about my decision when I originally signed on with ZeroQode, and they exceeded all expectations.

The project delivered measurable improvements to the application's data capabilities and overall performance. Millions of records were successfully processed, cleaned, and integrated into the database, significantly expanding the application's knowledge base. As a result, the application became capable of recognizing and utilizing a much wider range of information, leading to more accurate responses, improved data coverage, and a stronger foundation for future growth and scalability. The enhanced database also improved data organization and retrieval efficiency, supporting faster and more reliable application performance.

Project management was highly responsive and collaborative throughout the engagement. They consistently addressed my feedback and requests in a timely manner, and whenever an issue or improvement was identified, it was typically resolved by our next meeting or call. Deliverables were completed on schedule, communication was clear and proactive, and they adapted quickly to changing requirements to ensure the project continued to move forward efficiently.

What impressed me most about this company was their availability and responsiveness. They were always easy to reach, communicated clearly, and responded quickly whenever questions or issues arose. Their ability to act on feedback and implement changes promptly made the collaboration smooth and efficient throughout the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Zeroqode could have done differently?

The main area for improvement would be getting more items right on the first delivery. As with any complex project, it's important to stay involved, review the deliverables carefully, and provide feedback to ensure the final product matches your expectations. That said, whenever I flagged an issue or requested a change, the team was very responsive and addressed it quickly, usually by our next meeting or development cycle.

It turned out that they had no understanding of what the apps function actually was and what the feature was to accomplish. The thing they built was COMPLETELY USELESS AND NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE so we needed to DELETE EVERYTHING they built and we burnt $6,443 in the process.

Perhaps its because you don't get direct access to the dev's and so its a Chinese whispers game?
