Zemen Digital is a web and software development company in Addis Ababa, founded in 2021 by Yegeta Cherent.
We build three kinds of things. Business websites and online stores on WordPress, with Telebirr and Chapa payment integration for Ethiopian merchants. Custom systems on Laravel gym management, payment and KYC platforms, HR and asset management tools built for companies that have outgrown spreadsheets. And Telegram bots that handle orders, bookings, and customer support, which matters here because Telegram is where most Ethiopian customers already are.
We work with businesses in Addis Ababa and with US-based clients, including diaspora-focused organizations. Most website projects run two to four weeks. Custom systems take longer and we scope them properly before quoting.
Two things we do differently. You own everything we build code, domain, hosting account, no monthly lock-in unless you want a support plan. And we handle deployment and hosting setup ourselves rather than handing you a zip file, so the site is actually live and working when we’re done.
