I’m the CEO of Rhovit. We’re a distribution platform for content that also serves as a marketplace.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zehntech?

We were outsourcing our work to various developers when building the platform, but we were moving at a slower pace than we wanted. We hired Zehntech because we wanted to have everyone in-house and move the meter a bit faster.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our platform is built using AWS, so they use the various streaming technologies that are available through that. 

What is the team composition?

The number of teammates has varied over time, but there are four core people who we’ve worked with from the beginning.

How did you come to work with Zehntech?

We found Zehntech after reviewing multiple companies globally using Upwork. We put out a few ads about what we were looking for and they responded. We interviewed various companies, but they really understood what we were trying to do, so we created a partnership with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $50,000–$100,000 on their work. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2018 and our engagement is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

From an efficiency standpoint in accomplishing the work we give them, they’re one of the best companies we’ve worked with—they’re great. 

How did Zehntech perform from a project management standpoint?

Their approach is very efficient. We are constantly in contact and have daily scrum calls over Skype in which they update us on yesterday's work and tomorrow’s agenda. We primarily use Slack and video chats.

For the development codes, we can use GitHub to see everything in there.  If they don’t know something, they take the initiative to figure it out. It takes minimal effort on our part to know what they’re doing on a day-to-day basis. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve thrown a few curveballs at them and asked for things to be built that are out of the norm, but they’ve been exceptional at breaking it down. They always find the best solution for what we’re trying to accomplish and think on their feet. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

As of now, no—they’re pretty efficient.
