Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the CEO and co-founder of an e-commerce consulting firm. We do everything related to e-commerce, website design and development, mobile apps, and SEO service for B2B and B2C.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zain Ul Haq (SEO Consultant)?

We needed help with SEO and digital marketing for several of our clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Zain to work as a contractor for us on certain projects and he has done tremendous work for us. We have a few clients that need SEO services, and he has managed three or four of them throughout our engagement. His responsibility is to make sure that the keywords he is working on are ranking on the first page of Google. If there are any issues on the client’s website, he’ll let us know what needs to be fixed and optimizes it to increase lead generation. He also takes on digital marketing strategy including PPC, organic SEO, and digital advertising including social media.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with him in November 2016, and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

So far things have been good, and we are hoping to continue the relationship in the future. He has been giving us the results we needed. Leading up to the engagement, lead generation for our clients was 25%. Since we started working with Zain, they’ve increased to 40%. We’re also converting 40%–50% of generated leads that we are getting on the website and converting them into real potential customers. Last month, he helped us to generate 200 leads from one of our client’s websites. The client is happy and we’re happy. Quality and customer service are things we always look for, and both have been phenomenal with Zain.

How did Zain Ul Haq (SEO Consultant) perform from a project management standpoint?

We use a variety of tools such as Jira, Basecamp, phone calls, Skype and Google Hangouts.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Zain is a fantastic guy who’s very down to earth. He’ll listen carefully to the problems you’re looking to address and come back with solutions. I’ve worked with several contractors in the past that seem to only care about money, without concern for the actual problem. This isn’t an issue with Zain, and his prices are very reasonable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing comes to mind thus far in the project.

Be patient and explain the challenge. Zain is a great listener; he’ll come back with the right solution for your business.
