Our website had been in its previous form for around four years, and we had leveraged all possible value from it. We required better performance, additional functionality, and more visual appeal to kick things on to the next level. Once we agreed internally that the project needed doing, we were straight on the phone with Yellow Peach, who have supported our website since the company's inception in 2018.

We have worked with Yellow Peach since 2018, during which their service has been of the highest standard. We wouldn't consider anyone else.

At an initial in-person meeting we put our wants and needs to Yellow Peach, from which they created a project proposal. We decided to continue to use the WordPress platform, with which they would develop a custom template, which was the best solution to satisfy what we were looking for. The project was delivered via the following steps:

1. Discovery The first step is to get a thorough understanding of your business, its customers, and the role your website plays in the business. This will give us the foundations for moving forward and allow us to provide the best recommendations for your new website.
2. Design Once we've completed the discovery phase, we'll set to work creating design concepts for the website. This will initially involve low-fidelity wireframe prototypes, followed by high-fidelity website designs. We'll then iterate to make any required design tweaks, before beginning building the website.
3. Development On sign-off of the designs, we'll then start the build of your new website and integrating it into the WordPress content management system.
4. Testing & go-live Prior to launching the new website, we'll fully test your new website across multiple browsers & devices to ensure everything is working as it should. Then it's time to launch!
5. Training & ongoing support We'll walk you through the new website so you're up to speed with how to make content changes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Feedback from staff, stakeholders and customers about the new 'site had been overwhelmingly positive. The project was delivered on time, with each milestone met at the agreed point. Q4 this year, compared to Q4 in 2021, has seen significant increases in page views and average page depth (around 22% and 40% respectively) illustrating the fact that visitors are more engaged with the website.

Plus, our already low bounce rate has decreased by a further 20%, meaning that more visitors are the right sort of visitors, All in all, this goes to show that the quality of the website has improved, attracting more, better quality visitors - thus delivering our key requirements.

We had weekly progress catch-ups, with more lengthy discussions at each milestone. Will and I regularly communicated via email, or by 'phone if discussions needed to be a little deeper. Communication was timely, clear and comprehensive.
