Please describe your company and your position there.

BestOfTheLeaf.com is an affiliate marketing website that promotes hand-rolled cigars for sale online in the US. I am the owner.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire XYMAX Technologies, and what were your goals?

We needed a website that would not only showcase our cigar reviews but also facilitate the creation of a community that would continually generate fresh content and feeds that content to its users based on their interests. We needed a website front end with social media features, as well as an easy-to-use back end for our contributors to submit their content.

How did you select XYMAX Technologies and what were the deciding factors?

I have worked with Haider before and he proved to be reliable, capable, and trustworthy. I have had issues with other web developers in the past and I knew that there would not be any issues with XYMAX because of my past experience working with Haider.

Haider used my existing domain and hosting account to build a WordPress site with the themes and plugins I selected. Where Haider really shined was in customizing the website and developing the functionality needed for my unique website to work flawlessly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

None.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

Haider primarily uses WhatsApp for communication which is what I prefer as well. Daily check-ins via text coupled with weekly video calls kept me informed of the progress of the website. He provided ample opportunity for me to give feedback and make requests throughout the development process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were able to understand the goals and find solutions to make them happen.
