We hired xEnabler to help us develop the custom software Website and native apps.

Local presence in Australia with assurance to take full ownership of the development and delivery

They were engaged to develop a web portal and custom native app to deliver a professional marketplace solution including chat, video calling, payment gateway, location-based service etc

The company is run by one guy who recruits random people from his contact list to show they are part of it. Most of them are newbies (students with no experience) or people from Fiverr, which one can hire directly.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent more than $20,000.

What is the status of the engagement?

The project is now complete, with the formal handover schedule to take place soon

Creative designing skills, from my perspective and as a visionary/founder of a startup, it is important to have visual cues of the product, and the team did a good job

Nothing exciting to share here

No project management skills, they start with a lot of promise and structure which can make one feel they are good however once deep down on delivery actual product you can see them shaking or making excuses. I lost 41k so far without a single line of code being delivered. Looking to see how I can recover.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their initial talk was impressive, the rest is a high risk

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

xEnabler is trying to fly too high by making a false statement - AI, Blockchain etc. They can't even do simple API integration like chat, video call or payment gateway. My feedback is not a rant, and I just don't want other people to fall into the trap and lose hard-earned money.

Android and IOS app required to support a booking dispatch service for drivers. Functionality included real-time driver location monitoring, dynamic booking dispatch offers and integration with all back-end booking systems

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The app was launched within 4 months and is currently successfully dispatching bookings to drivers without any faults recorded to date.

The project was delivered in sprints using JIRA with regular daily stand-ups scheduled in addition to other regular technical and testing sessions (entire project component delivered remotely)

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their dedication to the project was amazing. Many early morning and late nights ensured a solution was delivered on time against all odds.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The development team could use a wider array of devices for testing (if I had to find a criticism)
