**Digital products built to perform.**
Widelab is a senior product design and engineering partner for enterprises and scaleups that have outgrown their current design capacity.

The companies we work with hit a wall at a specific moment. A founding team shipping without dedicated UX. An in-house team stretched across too many workstreams. A product that's grown faster than the experience surrounding it.

Since 2018, more than 300 companies from 30+ countries have come to us at moments like these: pre-launch, post-funding, before a major release. The work is scoped around your priorities, built to scale with your business, and designed to be owned by your team long after we're done.

Our in-house studios cover brand, web, and marketing (Widehue) and development (Widedev).

What we do:

- Product Design - UI/UX design, prototyping, design systems, user testing, wireframes
- Product Discovery - Discovery workshops, user interviews, MVP prioritization, UX audits, user journey mapping
- Software Development - Frontend (React, Vue), backend (Node.js, Python, .NET, PHP), mobile, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, architecture consultancy
- Brand & Marketing (Widehue) - Brand identity, marketing design, web
- Webflow Development - Websites, landing pages, web apps, custom solutions and integrations

Our work has been recognised by Awwwards, CSS Design Awards, FWA, and Clutch, where we hold a 4.9 rating across 79 verified reviews and rank among the top design agencies globally. Over 80% of our clients are still working with us two years after the first project.

Your success is our priority. The companies we work best with are ones where getting the product right actually changes outcomes. If you're at that point, it's worth a conversation.

## About the Team

### Our Story
Widelab was started in 2018 in Poland, by two founders with a clear idea of what good product design should be. Today, we're an 80+ person team, 65% senior, having delivered UX/UI design, product discovery, software development, and web/brand/marketing for 300+ startups and brands with over $110bn in valuation, across 32 countries. More than 80% of our clients are still working with us 2 years after the first project. We think that says more than any pitch ever could.

### What Sets Us Apart

- Award-winning design: Our work has been recognised by Awwwards, CSS Design Awards, FWA, and Clutch, where we hold a 4.9 rating across 77 verified reviews and rank among the top design agencies globally.

- AI speed with specialist quality: We've built proprietary systems, design frameworks, and AI-powered workflows that let our team move faster without cutting corners. You get senior thinking at a pace most studios can't match.

- Senior talent, strategic partnership: Every project is led by senior designers and developers, focused on strategy and building relationships - and not handed off to juniors post-sale. The team you meet in the first call is the team that does the work.

### Commonly Asked Questions

**What is your team's process like for onboarding new clients?**
Every client is assigned a dedicated project manager from day one. They consolidate project documentation, run a kickoff call, and establish a clear timeline with defined scope and milestones at each stage.

From there, we introduce the relevant team members - designers, developers, strategists, or marketing designers, depending on the project - and set up dedicated Slack channels to keep communication and progress visible throughout.

We run weekly check-ins as a baseline, and most engagements begin with a strategy workshop, product discovery session, or exploratory phase tailored to where the client is starting from. The format adapts to what the project actually needs, not a fixed template.

**What types of projects is your team interested in taking on right now?**
We work best with growth-stage SaaS and tech companies that have a product to build, redesign, or scale, and need a team that can move fast without cutting corners on quality.

The projects we take on typically fall into a few categories: product discovery and UX for teams validating a new idea or feature set, full product design and development for companies ready to build, design system creation and maintenance for teams that need consistency across a growing product, and Webflow development for marketing and product sites that need to perform.

The common thread is a client who knows what they want to achieve but needs a strategic design and development partner to get them there - not just an executor.

**How do you measure success?**
The simplest answer: 80% of our clients are still working with us two years after their first project. That retention rate is the metric we're most proud of.

Beyond that, we measure success against what each client actually came to us for - increased sales, lead generation, traffic growth, brand awareness, or a funding round they needed the product ready for. Design and development work only matters if it moves those numbers.

During and after every project, we collect structured feedback through NPS scores and ongoing client reviews. Client lifetime value is central to how we think about the business. We're not optimizing for one-off projects.

**How does your design process handle products that need to scale?**
Scalability is something we design for from the start, not something we retrofit later.

Early in every project, we establish the structural foundations - information architecture, component logic, and interaction patterns - that determine how well a product holds up as features, users, and teams grow. For most of our clients, this means building or inheriting a design system: a single source of truth for UI components, tokens, and guidelines that keeps the product consistent as it evolves.

We've built and maintained design systems for companies across fintech, SaaS, and enterprise software. The difference between a product that scales cleanly and one that becomes a patchwork of inconsistent decisions usually comes down to whether that foundation was established early, and whether someone is maintaining it.

**What separates strong UX from strong UI, and why does the distinction matter for product companies?**
UX is the logic of a product. UI is the expression of it. Both matter, but confusing them leads to products that look good and frustrate users, or feel intuitive but fail to convert.

Strong UX means a user can move through a product and accomplish what they came to do without friction, confusion, or unnecessary steps. It requires understanding how people think, what they expect, and where they get stuck. Strong UI means that experience is communicated clearly - through hierarchy, contrast, motion, and visual language that guides without distracting.

For product companies, the distinction matters because each requires a different kind of thinking. A team that only executes visually will miss the structural problems. A team that only thinks in flows will ship something that feels unfinished. We work across both, which is why our clients don't need to hire separately for strategy and execution.
