I am the founder of a site that helps companies support employees with childcare.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wholly Software?

Our Android and iOS apps needed to be improved and new features needed to be added, so we hired Wholly Software to help.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our registration process on our mobile app was entirely redone by Wholly Software. They made a lot of suggestions for streamlining and speeding up the app and helped us transition to Swift.

They built a whole new list-making feature for the app with a lot of functionality. It could add/remove items, reorganize lists, and classify them. They even advised a little on our push-notification strategy for the apps.

I chose them because they’re great communicators—they’re super responsive, clear, and easy to deal with. Our partnership is really good. Besides being kind, they can identify problems nicely and work with me to find solutions.

We spent about $3500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started work in January 2019, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our app is way smoother and our churn is lower. More people are using the list feature since they rebuilt it, although I don’t specifically have any numbers.

How did Wholly Software perform from a project management standpoint?

I can say what I need, and they’ll break it down into components, give a reliable quote, and identify issues ahead of time. Their project management style is really good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re in the top 1% of communication, quality of work, and delivering on-time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just work with them, they’re really good.
