Providing web applications services

We are White Label Coders – a team of 20+ experienced web developers, with hundreds of websites, e-commerce and web-app jobs completed over past few years. We are a tech-focused company, with the majority of our team members having engineering degrees in IT. Our main technology stack is JavaScript (Node.js, Angular) and PHP (Symfony and Yii frameworks, as well as Magento and WordPress/WooCommerce).

We are based in Poland/Central Europe, however for more than 4 years we have been working mostly with international clients and partners around the world (USA, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Australia, UAE...), turning their creative ideas into web-based and mobile applications. Providing software development services at European standards of quality, we help our partners to embrace  web technology and grow their businesses.

We are a process-driven company able to guide you smoothly through the complete process of software development, starting from the project scoping, through the agile development, detailed cross-browser and functional testing, up to live deployment and long-term support.

Moreover:
- all our people have a good command of the English language,
- A team means more than a single person. A valuable mixture of experiences, including not only technical skills, but also project management, testing, design, system administration and others, which could never be delivered by a one-man-army type of partner.

Computer Repair Doctor - the customized ERP platform

Our programmers took over the development of a fully customized ERP platform used at a chain of consumer electronic repair shops based in the state of Florida. Although the original platform had been written in vanilla PHP, we managed to switch it to a Symfony framework, without going through a full system rewrite. Thanks to carefully planned intermediate system architecture, we were able to take advantage of a Symfony

framework for all the new features, and rewrite existing ones only when a change was required. This strategy can often be used instead of the costly and risky rewriting apps from scratch.

NDChannel - B2B platform

For a wholesale jewelry producer from New York we created a complete B2B platform automating complex product pricing, as well as, the complete ordering and settlement process. The system has been integrated with a Quick Books platform and a payment gateway, giving our client an important competitive advantage.

HomeKoncept - the Magento2 store

A Magento2 store with home furnishings. The main challenge was to alter the default purchase process to allow visitors to browse through visuals of different types of rooms, and buy a complete room with a single click. We have chosen the Magento platform, because of it’s virtually unlimited flexibility, which was required for both the current customizations and the multiple integrations planned for the future.

Adexbud - the app to support work with partners, electronic submission of orders

Our client, a dye and plaster producer, needed an easy to use tool for his clients and partners, giving them the ability to quickly calculate the price of a product tinted with a color chosen from one of the available color palettes. The app is equipped with an admin panel for lab staff responsible for preparing color recipes and currently is expanded with more sophisticated functionality for wholesale partners of our

client.

DrOmnibus - award games for therapeutic application

We developed mechanisms for fast and simple implementation of new rewarding games to an existing educational and therapeutic application for children with autism, such as Puzzle and Flashlight. Thanks to these mechanisms, the application has gained 14 new games and is more attractive and effective in the children's therapy.

The Silesian University of Technology - the Case Teaching Platform

Based on the assumptions of modern education approaches, Silesian Technical University considered using new media in teaching. The idea of teaching based on real case studies from industry, instead of traditional theoretical knowledge gave the basis for building an innovative web platform for teachers. The platform helps to organize lecture material according to case teaching methodology. The system is designed to provide a

complete real time aid for people conducting engineering courses and simplifies the distribution of material among participating students.

YearFul - the personalized calendar application

Our client had a startup idea for creating a tool for simplifying planning and visualizing the whole year from a  birds eye view. The challenge was to make a full year calendar view easy to read and an app easy to use, compared with other overly-complicated planning apps. A perfect solution for freelancers and contractors, as well as, anyone who really cares about planning their lives at a high level.

The White Label Coders team is able to handle flexible requirements and multiple projects with ease, tracking the different tasks well and always communicating effectively. They are focused, and they produce quality deliverables.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of a full-service internet agency. Our focus is on online marketing, websites, web shops, and marketing campaigns.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with White Label Coders?

We didn’t have all the right development languages in-house, so we looked externally.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provide us with the right people at the right time, which makes us very flexible to our clients. They do what we ask them to do—we create a project or tasks, which they then take care of. I contact them if there are any issues or if I want to discuss a solution.

The work is mainly Magento and WordPress development. A recent project was for a company that had an outdated Magento webshop and WordPress website. They needed a new platform that integrated the shop and the site. We created a WordPress WooCommerce site, doing the design in-house. Developers from White Label Coders created the template and set up for the WordPress environment.

What is the team composition?

The number of developers depends on the size of the project. Most of the time there is at least one project manager and one or two developers.

How did you come to work with White Label Coders?

Pawel (CEO, White Label Coders) contacted me, but we didn’t have the urgency to outsource at that time. When we did, I got back in touch.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve invested between $25,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in 2016, and it is an ongoing relationship.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Overall, the quality is very good. They’re flexible and responsive. Most of the time, we work with the same developers, so we get to know each other and get to know how people prefer to receive assignments or task descriptions.

How did White Label Coders perform from a project management standpoint?

Most of the time, I send any questions I have to the project manager so that she can plan with the developers. Prior to that, I had been assigning things to the developer myself. Using the project manager has been working well and helps to keep everyone focused on the right tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexibility has been impressive. We often have lots of smaller tasks and several different projects going, and they’ve been able to switch between them smoothly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not that I can think of.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s important and would be good to get to know them. Have a call, share screens, and show them what you mean before starting the project. You can also visit them to meet them in person. We even had a developer over for a couple of weeks, so he was working from our office on the project.

Feedback summary:

The system is the functional foundation of the business, integral to all daily operations. White Label Coders ensures strong communication through multiple channels and project management is seamless. They work quickly and effectively at a good price.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the owner of a Computer Repair Doctor. We have seven brick-and-mortar stores where we fix phones, computers, and other electronics.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with White Label Coders?

We were looking for a custom software solution to help manage our business. None of the existing workflow systems suited our needs sufficiently.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

White Label Coders developed a custom software solution that handles multiple aspects of our business and runs our daily workflow. They’ve worked exclusively on our system since they first developed it five years ago. We came to them with a beta version and then we had specific requirements. Since then there have been times that we gave them detailed requests and others that were open-ended requirements with a goal in mind. We constantly change things, trying to improve, grow, and scale. Over time, every module has been rewritten and improved upon.

The system has a huge range of capabilities. For one, it’s a full job management system that lets us create new jobs and log customer and device information, job status, pricing information, and other details. It’s also a part management system that integrates directly with some of our vendors so we can place orders and manage inventory. We have a full CRM with customer information, integrated with our email platform and quote forms on our website. We can process payments and refunds and look up transactions. There’s a dashboard feature for reporting. It integrates with our VoIP phone systems and we can use it to send and receive text messages. The settings are configurable to multiple locations and different user permission levels.

What is the team composition?

I've worked directly with the owner as well as a lead senior developer. We work with different developers on a variety of tasks so have probably worked with over a dozen people over the years.

How did you come to work with White Label Coders?

I was originally connected to them through a Business Network International (BNI) group. They're part of a BNI group in Poland and I was part of one in Florida. They were looking for partners in the U.S.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent at least $75,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2013 and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This system runs the entire backend of our company. Without it, we wouldn't be able to get done what we need to get done. It's an integral part of our day-to-day function. It's not a marketing project so it hasn't increased our ability to gain customers but it's the functional foundation for us.

They’re a great team to work with. They've always delivered exactly what I needed. I generally assume that they can do anything as far as automation, programming, and development are concerned. They’ve been exceptional and I've always been fully satisfied.

How did White Label Coders perform from a project management standpoint?

Email is our primary form of communication but we interact in a number of ways. We’ve used Skype and Zoom for video chats. My team uses slack internally and our main developer added a channel specifically for our system. We use Trello to handle some projects. I’ve also met their owner in person and will do so again in a few weeks.

They’ve performed great. Whatever internal project management systems they use seem appropriate and have worked. From my point of view as the customer, things have been seamless.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The deliverables for the price. They have a great rate compared to alternative options. I had worked with developers here in the U.S. in the past and people in the same price range were much slower or much less effective. White Label Coders are good. They have a whole team behind them. They get things done quickly, effectively, and at a good price.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing immediately jumps to mind. I don’t have any complaints. Maybe they’ll struggle to manage the ebb and flow of work as they bring on more talented staff members but I haven’t experienced that. I think any company can use improvements in something but I can’t think of anything specific.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice would be to give them a try. If you're ready to dive into a $75,000 project with them, go for it. If you're not quite sure, do a test project. If it's between these guys and someone else, I would absolutely recommend that you give them a try. They do a solid job. I think anyone who gives them a try would be just as pleased as I was and willing to trust them as much as I have.
