Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the sole proprietor of a consulting company based in Walpole, MA, working with widowed clients.

For what projects/services did your company hire EJM Design?

I built my own website a year ago and it needed a more polished look and improved branding. In addition, I was seeking an integrated booking system as well as social media and email marketing strategy to increase brand awareness.

After a lengthy discovery meeting to discuss my objectives, Emily put together a clear proposal of exactly what she would do and the specific associated costs. This allowed me to understand how she would transition out of my existing website after content capture and migrate to a new platform while integrating the new elements I requested.

I worked exclusively with Emily from beginning to end which allowed for seamless delivery of exactly what I wanted.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There was a substantial increase in traffic to my site following our go-live date. In addition, I received lots of positive feedback that the site was more visually appealing and easier to navigate than the original site.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Emily facilitated the workflow by using Trello where deadlines were mapped and both she and I were clear on deliverables at all times.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Emily completed multiple projects featured on her website, and the design quality was awe-inspiring. In addition, there were many touchpoints during the month-long process and her communication was clear and consistent throughout.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I had no complaints and appreciated Emily's patience with me throughout the process and I am less than tech-savvy.

I’m a blogger and influencer and I provide digital marketing for the brands that I work with.

I needed a website that would accurately reflect my Instagram account.

EJM Design built our website from scratch and provided us with SEO development. They worked with me to hone my individual needs and helped me target my blog posts to make sure I was hitting my goals with precision.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

A lot of people have remarked that the website has been easy to follow. EJM Design has also helped increase my click-through rate and engagement by 200%.

How did EJM Design perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was very prompt and thorough, and they always made sure my needs are always met — I was blown away by their deliverables and was very surprised with their hands-on and communicative approach.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One thing I found helpful is how they were able to provide me with walkthrough videos on YouTube that were specific to improving my website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they could improve on because they exceeded my expectations in so many ways.

I don’t really have any advice because their services left no room for errors — everything was handled smoothly.
