BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m an IT contractor for a construction company, and we remodel residential homes, business spaces, bathrooms, and kitchens. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Website Turbix?

We didn’t have a website and only used Facebook to reach out to our audience. We were looking for someone to create our site to increase our exposure. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We first spoke with Website Turbix’s developer and gave an overview of our business and our goals for the site. I then emailed them the information we wanted to appear on the platform.

Afterward, Website Turbiox started putting the website together. We would go back and forth, and I’d look at their progress. That went on until we had the end product. We reviewed their work, and when everything looked alright, we accepted the platform. 

The site has been developed from scratch, and it’s built using WordPress. Website Turbix is currently hosting our website. 

What is the team composition?

I’ve primarily worked with two teammates, but there may have been other teammates working behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Website Turbix?

I found them through a web search. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $800. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since April 2022, and our relationship is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Website Turbix is reasonably priced and does good work. They’ve done a great job with the site they’ve developed for us. 

However, whenever I email Website Turbix my instructions, they’ll fix maybe one or two things, but not everything. I have to tell them again, which has happened 3–4 times. Additionally, they’ve wanted to add functionalities and kept charging us more. We are only a small company and not interested in investing in those options, but they keep pushing us.

How did Website Turbix perform from a project management standpoint?

Website Turbix’s project management is above average — they seem to be on top of things and what needs to be done. We’ve used their proprietary portal, where we can email and exchange files. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Website Turbix’s affordable pricing is impressive. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Website Turbix can pay more attention to emails that define the client’s wishes for changes. In our case, they only do half of what we tell them, and we still need to remind them that they’ve failed to do some tasks. I don’t know if it’s due to oversight, or they just don’t have the time.
