I am the co-founder of our company and am responsible for personnel as well as Branding.

For what projects/services did your company hire Webezy, and what were your goals?

We hired Jaspinder for the re-design of our website as well as ongoing maintenance.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We hired Japsinder through upwork after having conducted an interview with him.

After a kick off meeting we managed daily and weekly tasks via Asana as well as implemented a daily scrum meeting.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

1 (Jaspinder) - re-designing and maintenance

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project mostly ran smoothly. We did a few project delays at times but the daily scrum meeting did assist to reduce this by ensuring everyone was always on the same page and knew what the priority tasks were. The work itself submitted was in most cases good, however at times attention to detail was lacking, which is why we implemented quality check points which improved this. Jaspinder was always open to trying to ways of working to ensure efficiency and quality.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Communication was in most cases good, especially once we started using Slack. We did realize that by allocating week tasks, at times there would be jumping between tasks which would lead to some tasks not getting done - going forward we prevented this by focusing on 1 task at a time and setting daily rather than weekly tasks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Jaspinders work ethic was great. he was always eager to work even on weekends. He challenged ideas at times which led to a better outcome than I had initially envisioned. His technical know-how is also very impressive. There was never a time where he couldn't implement something and if he was ever unsure, he would thoroughly research alternatives.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The main area is project management - working on a task and getting it done before moving on to the next task as well as time management and adhering to deadlines. If deadlines can't be met communication is important to let the team know that there will be a delay
