We’re working on a waste energy platform. I’m the founder and chairman of the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Webdew?
They helped us build the backend platform through which we accept payments from customers and give out tokens.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed the front- and backend of our web platform from scratch. They’ve also done a few videos for us, and they’re providing marketing services through HubSpot, Facebook, Instagram, Google, and Twitter.
The website was built on HubSpot. We had telephone consultations with them, but we didn’t provide any wireframes or other documentation. They made the entire frontend design, including animations and logos, then we provided the content. The backend of the site allows us to issue coins to users, and they can log in to access those.
What is the team composition?
I’m in constant communication with their head people, Danish (Co-Founder & CEO, Webdew) and Chehak (Co-Founder & COO, Webdew). When they weren’t available, I spoke to their main technical developer. There was a total of 8–10 people from Webdew working on our project. Now that development is finished, we’re using 2–3 people to look after the product.
How did you come to work with Webdew?
I initially hired them on Upwork. We started conversing more, and I found out about the other services they provided, so when we encountered a problem that no one could solve, I went to them with it. The solution he came up with convinced me to give the whole contract to him.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost so far has been $137,000, not including our ad spend.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I think our website is one of the best ones out there. We have a Telegram group with 28,000 people, who gave us very good feedback after the website was completed. They especially liked the backend, which is neat, clean, and user-friendly.
How did Webdew perform from a project management standpoint?
They performed quite well. We never had any issues, and the support was there 24/7, even in the middle of the night. We’re based in the UK and they’re in India, so they’ve been available to us at 2–3 a.m. for calls.
We have meetings twice a week and have used a few software tools with them. We conversed on Telegram, and they created a few groups on Flock, through which all the project management was done.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a one-stop-shop for everything. They’ve done videos for us, they’ve built the front- and backend of our website, and they’ve worked on our marketing. In short, they’re handling our entire business. They’re able to find people who work well together and focus on delivering the product on time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The website gets updated every 2–3 weeks, and they’re continuing to provide those updates. There’s nothing that I feel is lacking.

I definitely recommend working with Webdew as they’re a one-stop-shop.
