We needed a company that could help us maintain and improve our Repairability Technical Support (RTS) website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We partnered with WebCitz, LLC to maintain and implement additional functionalities to our RTS (Repairability Technical Support) website. We already had an idea of the functionality that we wanted for the site, but WebCitz, LLC’s help was instrumental in helping us lay the groundwork for what we wanted the site to look like and how all of its parts would work together. Right now, we have more than 15,000 pages of content on the site, and WebCitz, LLC was responsible for helping us understand how to connect the dots and make everything flow together.

Now, WebCitz, LLC is in charge of all of our CSS needs — they handle everything with any kind of complicated forms, such as our log-in forms. They’ve helped us organize our site’s layout and content and do some custom coding work. They’ve also helped us with the site’s functionality design by providing us recommendations on the different styles, ideas, and formats that we can use to make the site look more modern and function in a better way.

Additionally, they’ve helped us with our site’s Single Sign-On (SSO). They’ve worked with our internal IT department and two other vendors to identify and resolve the existing issues within our SSO.

Aside from that, they’ve done some SEO work for us to make sure that we have a clean website that functions very well. They’ve also done some additional work to drive traffic to our site and provided a lot of information to give us insights on what people are searching for and what additional improvements we can implement on our website to drive up our optimization.

They’re currently working on developing an iOS and Android app for us.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The biggest metric that I could think of was when WebCitz, LLC had our SSO up and running in less than a month. Before they came in and helped with our SSO, the other vendors had been working on it for six months without any success. This, to me, really exemplifies their technical proficiency and the overall quality of their work.

Overall, they’ve been extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and it has been a great experience working with them. They’ve been able to help us with so many things quickly, efficiently, and at a very fair price.

WebCitz, LLC has performed incredibly well in terms of project management. They’ve consistently delivered on time and adhered to our established timelines. Even with larger projects, they always find a way to get things done on time or earlier by finding new methods to streamline their process. We always know that they’re in the background, finding ways to make things happen and keep us on track.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with WebCitz, LLC’s ability to adapt to any situation that we’ve come across. I also appreciate how patient they are. They have the ability to have high-level conversations with extremely technical people, but they’re also able to bring it down to a level where a beginner can understand them. That, to me, is a true testament to their depth of knowledge and expertise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything WebCitz, LLC could improve on — everything that they’ve done for us has exceeded our expectations.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come in with at least a plan of what you want to accomplish, and don't be afraid to ask questions. WebCitz is very knowledgeable, and they will explain everything to you and take a lot of the fear that comes from the unknown away. They will take care of you very well.

We heard about WebCitz, LLC through a family member and after meeting with part of their team, decided WebCitz was a great fit for us. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and thoroughly & clearly explained everything to us, took the time to go over every step of designing, creating & hosting a beautiful website for us. They explained how important a good website is and how they can make our website standout and be recognized, and easily accessible. And they are very reasonably priced, we saved a lot of money compared to the previous company we worked with for our old website and hosting.

After a series of meetings and discussing our goals, they came up with some fabulous designs for our main page, color theme, content and important pages to follow. They helped with page layout, photo layouts, and content layout, and great tips for creating an "eye catching" website.

The final result of our website was fabulous! We constantly receive positive feedback and compliments about our website and design, even after several years! I’m the marketing manager for a distributor and fabricator of polycarbonate and PVC liner panels for the building and construction market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

For the e-commerce website, WebCitz helped us migrate it from Magento to WordPress. Our goal was to make things easier in terms of quickly making updates. The team also worked behind the scenes to help me when I couldn’t do something on the admin panel. They also took care of larger issues that came up. 

Meanwhile, for our general informational website, WebCitz used a template. They set up its WordPress theme and its hosting. As we built the site, they were there to answer my questions about it and to provide us with their technical knowledge. 

At present, WebCitz continues to help me make quick updates to our products and websites. Our company faces many changes, and implementing such changes quickly helps our sales team.

The redesign of one of the websites has been finished recently, and we’ve received highly positive feedback. It’s easier to navigate, and the product information is more centralized — the site definitely has a more responsive layout.  

The same goes for our e-commerce site; we also get plenty of compliments about how easy it is to find everything on it. Overall, our customers like to use the websites. In fact, we’ve received comments that they go to our website more than they go to other manufacturers; they can more easily find technical data or product specifications on our platforms.

WebCitz has managed the project well. They’re timely and get back to us with updates whenever they complete something or if they run into issues. I appreciate that they always keep me in the loop. To communicate, we use emails and phone calls.

Their responsiveness to issues is impressive. The team does everything in their power to correct an issue in a timely fashion. On top of that, WebCitz is highly flexible and listens to my needs. 

Moreover, their team members are friendly and easy to work with — I’ve had a good experience talking to every one of them. they can explain technical things in an understandable way. They help me understand the updates they do, so I can relay the information to my team. I can also count on them to come up with more than one solution to issues that come up.

No, there aren’t any. We do need to improve some things, but those things don’t have anything to do with WebCitz.

List down what you want in the project, know your own skill sets, and sit down with the WebCitz team — lay everything out for them. They’re flexible and can accommodate however you want to work; they can either build the whole website for you or serve as a partner while you build the website yourself.

Their project management has been great overall. There was a gap in their service one time, but they immediately corrected it so I would highly recommend them to anyone else without a doubt.

The WebCitz, LLC team helped us fix our existing website, including enabling our shopping cart to work properly. They had a lot of staff that had unique talents in different areas of web development, and all of them supported our project because we needed to change many things. We also required the assistance of their IT department. They completed everything that needed to be done, but they continue to be available to help us if we’re faced with technical issues.

It would’ve been more substantial if we rebuilt the website, but we were amazed that the team was able to salvage our platform and utilize it. On top of that, our sales increased because the shopping cart and contact form became functional. Overall, their team effort was impressive, and they didn’t make us feel overwhelmed with technical issues.

WebCitz, LLC was professional, and we were in constant communication with each other. They were transparent with every process of repair that they were implementing. They had strong coordination skills, and they were always prompt with their responses. We communicated 90% of the time through email and 10% through phone calls. Above all, their price quote was incomparable with prices we received from other vendors.

They were very keen on explaining what our problems were, and they ensured that we understood what they were going to do to implement to fix things. They were genuinely caring and courteous, and in this day and age, it was unbelievable to work with a team like them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Over the last couple of years, WebCitz developed a brand new website for us. I was in talks with them every day for a year during that project. Meanwhile, they built the website in a way that allowed our store partners to place orders online. They also worked on its design, logo, and color schemes. After we gained customers, the WebCitz team helped us move into our own server. That way, we had enough speed and size to handle the orders and products properly. 

Moreover, their resources looked into solutions and options that we might want to use. The biggest aspect they had to work on was making the website user-friendly and fast enough despite the number of products placed on it. I wrote most of the site’s content, but they helped me with the wording of the content. They looked at other companies similar to us to see if we could derive any ideas from them. 

At present, WebCitz continues to make changes to the website to ensure that it’s easy to use and that we stay with the times. The team provides me with wireframes and has launched a cache site, where I can see the changes they’re making before they implement them on the website. Eight years ago, our website was simply an informational one — now, it generates somewhere between $1.5 million–$2 million per month.

Anecdotally, WebCitz does what they promise to do. In this day and age, it’s hard to find a company like that. Moreover, if something isn’t working correctly, I can call them even on a Saturday or a Sunday. They always answer and take care of the problem for me. They’re a refreshing team that truly cares about the people that work with them. 

How did WebCitz, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re with me every step of the way. They tell me what’s going on and how long it takes to send me updates. Overall, the WebCitz team keeps me informed about how long things are going to take and when things are going to be done. To communicate, we occasionally use emails. However, since I’m impatient, we have a lot of phone calls — they always answer me whether I call them five times a day or once a week. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their distinguishing qualities are their attention to detail and their willingness to ensure that I know what they’re doing all the time. On top of that, they seem to truly care about me. Over the years, they’ve gotten bigger and hired a lot more people. Still, they do a great job of making me feel like I’m the only customer they have.

No, there aren’t any. I don’t have any complaints about them. We’re a small company, and they’re essentially our IT team.

If you’re looking for an IT company to do any website project, don’t hesitate to ask them questions. Keep calling them and giving your requests — they honestly don’t mind. They won’t make you feel you’re bothering them no matter how many times you reach out to them.

We wanted to work with a local company, a company where we could get to know the people working there and they could get to know us and better understand our needs and meet those needs without breaking the bank.

We sat down together to discuss what we liked about our previous website: what worked and what didn't. WebCitz made suggestions on how we could improve the look and content of our site to draw more people in and keep it user friendly. Through the entire process OAHS was kept abreast with the many changes that were being made and how they would work to our advantage.

At the time I believe there were 2 key people that worked on the project. We liked that we were working with the same people though out the project and not getting confused with too many options. They focused on what we needed most to make our site beneficial and effective.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

OAHS has received many compliments from our donors and website visitors about how easy our site is to navigate and find the information they are looking for.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was good. There was a lot of back and forth to make sure the end product was what we wanted. There were times we didn't understand how something would work to our advantage and needed more discussion but doing so made sure we got everything we wanted and needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

When we have questions or concerns they get back to us in a timely fashion. If we feel something needs immediate attention they are on it. Their staff is always personable and patient, explaining things we don't understand in a simpler way. We know they are there to help us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall, we have been very satisfied with our working relationship with WebCitz. Any complaints we may have would be minuscule compared to the overall great service we receive from them.

The main thing their team did for us was to rebuild some of our landing pages. We asked them to take our landing pages out of the website builder that a previous vendor used. After that, they rebuilt the landing pages using Plain HTML to improve the speed of those pages. The WebCitz, LLC team continues to work for us.

After they rebuilt our landing pages, our PageSpeed Insights (PSI) score jumped from 28 to 76, which shows that the speed of our web pages dramatically improved because of their work. On top of that, they’re very quick and efficient.

They have a good project management process although there isn't a lot of heavy project management involved in our projects. We communicate through emails and phone calls. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about them.
