I'm the owner of a company with food delivery service. We offer and deliver healthy lunch /dinner options all around Hungary.

For what projects/services did your company hire Webcapital, and what were your goals?

Our original website was created at the beginning of 2022 but it was far away from being user friendly. This website didn't fulfill our expectations so we decided to hire an other company to recreate a more user and also admin friendly version.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Webcapital was offered by a friend and ex-colleague of mine, who is a very professional developer. I just trusted his recommendation.

We had several meetings to clarify the details of the project. We also had a personal meeting in Budapest with the team of delivery service. All of the texts, pictures and design elements were transferred by me to the developer so they could start working on the frontend. I also defined the expected functionalities of the admin site. They didn't use mockups because the old site was base for the new one. The project manager defined the milestones and he always informed us about the current situation and the completed work. We could check every functionalities on a test site, so it was easy to give feedback to the developer team.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The project manager was the main point of contact throughout the process. We used to work with the main developer as well and we met two other developer during our online meetings. One of them were responsible for design.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We already finished our project but I can say, everybody who has to work with our new system is satisfied with the result. The new website makes our daily work much easier and quicker.

We didn't had daily stand-ups with our project manager but i think it was fine, because it wasn't necessary. We were always informed about the happenings so we could react at the time it was needed. Our communication channels were e-mails, google meets and phone.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I used to work for IT companies as a project manager but I've never experienced that kind of accuracy. The developer were always on time, the communication was easy with them and all of our meetings were timed perfectly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, i can't remember any.

Im the MD of Project Simply, and we are a creative agency that helps clients in the live event and experience led destination space better engage their clients through their digital channels.

We were looking at rebuilding one of our core SASS products, Plot on a new standalone custom development build, integrating a range of bespoke tooling, web products and hosting suites.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We went out to a number of agencies around the world and looked at factor such as enthusiasm, responsiveness, experience, process and cost. We were very impressed by Web capital, ability to assimilate what was needed and ask the right questions and come up with some very early great ideas.

Their process was great, and the communication was quick and consistent. Overall they impressed far more than lots of other well-established agencies.

They were tasked with scoping out and developing a robust onboarding system, visual CMS, a reporting suite and a AWS hosting setup using Laravel and Vue.vs.

There we 3-4 people on the project. Their Head of Dev and PM was Kornel who clearly knew his stuff and managed the whole project beautifully. They then had a senior dev and 2 other junior devs.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Whilst we haven't yet launched the project, Kornel and his team, really helped us shape the direction of the product and help us take it in some different direction to save money and time.

We used Jira, Slack and Trello with huge success. We worked off a 2 week sprint process with multiple check ins and udpates

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were small, responsive and extremely talented.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some small areas of improvement needed on Quality control on pixel perfect front end dev, but their work was excellent and their back end work was faultless.

I'm the Operations Director of ITG Commerce, an international web development company specialized in e-commerce solutions.

The scope of the project was to create a WordPress plugin which provides an easy way of importing events through the client's backoffice to any WordPress website of their customers. This has been achieved by downloading events from the client's backoffice event feed and creating events as a custom post type in WordPress.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We wanted a vendor who is familiar with the technology and can be a reliable, long-term supporter of the solution.

Being curious about the business need and the workflow they designed a technical plan which fitted very well, accompanied by a thorough documentation. During the implementation we had regular sync meetings together with the client and after the handover they managed to give quick solutions to the small fine-tuning type of requests from the client.

There were 3 people working on the project, one managing the work and two developers implementing it.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Solution has been implemented in a timely manner making the staff's life who started using the tool much easier.

Many vendors are happy to promise various things at the beginning which later on will be very far from the reality. This time it was different. Whenever anyone from the vendor team had questions, suggestions or recommendations or the client did. They were generally quick, prompt, very helpful, and efficient.

Reliability. Being on time and keeping up with their promises.

Nothing really to highlight.

All the digital, online developments goes to webcapital from our side. Our goal was to found an agile and efficent team to serve all our various development needs.

We have a common little project, so we know webcapital's advantages. The flexibility and the wide range of inhouse skills made us confident in our choice.

We are running an ongoing cooperation, so the scope/worflow/technologies are changing to time to time. Most of the time we provide designs in Figma/Adobe XD. The developments are usually using Bootstrap, and jQuery

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In all the projects the clients are happy with the delivery times, because webcapital is good in making the deadlines reachable. The sites they made are performing better in Google page insight, and the SEO scores are usually way better than the old sites.

We usually use e-mail for communication, and Trello/Google tools for the big projects.

Webcapital's team always thinks before they act. This capability brings confidence to us.

I think they shoud develope their (automatical) testing processes.

I’m the marketing manager of an HR consulting company. We help our partners in three countries to find and retain the most suitable workforce.

For what projects/services did your company hire Webcapital, and what were your goals?

We had the opportunity to work with Webcapital on our customer relationship management software. Their developers helped us with the specification, process definition and they developed the software with various iterations and changes, always on schedule and without any problems.

A very professional team to work with, highly recommended.

How did you select Webcapital and what were the deciding factors?

We chose Webcapital due to the fact that we worked successfully in the past on various projects with them. They are always reliable partners. So this was an easy decision as they already knew our business needs and specific business requirements.

Our goal was to develop a unified CRM system to interconnect the business operations with the financial department’s work. The project started with the review of the three operations departments processes’ and the financial department’s interaction with each one of them.

After the specification phase they implemented the base platform to handle partner registration and HR activities with the candidates then finally they integrated the financial reports with the operations based on the campaign activities.

The technology used was PHP, MySQL using the Laravel framework running on a Linode VPS. For the frontend they used Bootstrap.

Altogether we worked with 3 employees from the vendor’s team, one being the project manager from their side, and the others developers (one senior developer and one junior developer).

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Due to the new CRM we were able to eliminate most of the data handled in Excel sheets and our overall delivery in the operations part accelerated significantly.

With the financial reports we have a better understanding of our core processes and faults and we were able to arrive at better conclusions about our business development.

They were able to understand our business since we were working together for a few years already. For this project we shared a Google Drive folder with all the specifications so both teams were able to follow the change requests through the project.

The timeline was clear and well-planned so we were able to plan the departments’ work accordingly, to prepare our employees and processes for the new CRM system.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

That they never got in our way through the process. They were eager to understand our problems and worked with us to solve them even if that meant that the specification changed various times. They never said that this or that cannot be solved.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Maybe more developers would be helpful to accelerate project delivery time.
