What challenge were you trying to address with Vox Web Studios?

I needed help with website development and SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Vox Web Studios has developed my website from scratch, and they’re now in charge of my SEO and PPC efforts. I had the idea for my business and my logo — I had crafted my vision twelve years ago — so I initially provided them with what I had and explained my idea. From there, they were in charge of designing and developing the site. Now, they provide maintenance and hosting.

It is a full-service e-commerce site with a shopping cart functionality. On it, Vox Web Studios has made an integration with the company that prints and ships my products, so when a user places their order, it will be automatically processed and shipped without me doing anything manually.

The project has also included market testing. As for SEO and PPC, Vox Web Studios has created a marketing campaign that we will launch on Facebook and Instagram, and it will also include Google Ads. Originally, I just wanted to build the site, but they convinced me to launch the marketing campaign to have more success.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with two people from Vox Web Studios, a project manager and an assistant project manager.

How did you come to work with Vox Web Studios?

I did some research, found them on Google, and felt they would be the right partner for me. Ultimately, it turned out to be the right decision; I had the right feeling.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent around $6,000 CAD (approximately $4,400 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Vox Web Studios really listened to me and understood my vision. I wanted a simple, clean, and easy-to-use website, and they nailed it; they made my vision a reality. Everyone I’ve shown the website to has absolutely loved its ease of use and look and feel. It looks very professional and resonates a lot with the golf industry.

How did Vox Web Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

Vox Web Studios’ project management is good. Our collaboration has been virtual, so communicating via email or text can cause delays. Still, they’ve met their deadlines. They estimated a development process of about three months, and they hit the mark.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Vox Web Studios’ biggest strength is their ability to listen to their clients. They have a lot of great ideas, but they also listen to my needs. For example, I already had a clear idea of how I wanted my site to look, and they presented a design early on that I didn’t like. Still, they listened to my needs, took my vision, and put it on the new website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everyone can improve, and Vox Web Studios is not perfect. Still, I can’t pinpoint an area of opportunity for them. If anything, it took them a little longer than expected to make changes to the design when required. However, it doesn’t take away from what they’ve done.
