Our objective was to improve financial visibility by bringing together cash positions, upcoming payments, and financial forecasts, enabling our finance team to better understand liquidity, monitor cash flow, and assess the organization's overall financial position.
• Complete CFO Cockpit and Treasury Desk Development - We hired VKreatelabs to develop the complete CFO CockWe engaged VKreatelabs to design and develop the complete CFO Cockpit and Treasury Desk, creating an intuitive platform for corporate treasury management and financial decision-making. VKreatelabs was responsible for the design and development of a comprehensive treasury intelligence platform, covering the CFO Cockpit, Treasury Desk, financial forecasting capabilities, and a proprietary AI engine.

The scope of work included: 

1. CFO Cockpit and Treasury Dashboard Development: Built an executive-facing interface that brings together liquidity health indicators, cash positions, minimum safe cash thresholds, financial forecasts, key risks, and decisions requiring attention.
2. Treasury Management and Liquidity Analysis: Developed functionality to compare available cash against upcoming payments and minimum liquidity requirements, helping finance teams assess their financial position under different scenarios.
3. Cash Flow Forecasting and Scenario Planning: Implemented Base, Downside, and Severe forecasting scenarios to help identify potential cash shortfalls, understand financial exposure, and evaluate changing business conditions.
4. Proprietary AI Engine Development: Developed a dedicated AI engine to analyze financial information and generate plain-English summaries explaining what changed, the main contributing factors, and what finance leaders should monitor next.
5. Financial Data Integration and Engineering: Worked with financial data from multiple sources, including SAP, bank statements, and forecasts, to support consolidated reporting and consistent financial insights.
6. User Interface and Data Visualization: Designed clear financial dashboards and visualizations that make complex treasury data easier to interpret, including scenario comparisons, liquidity thresholds, and potential funding-gap indicators.

The platform was developed using technologies including Figma, React, TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, SAP S/4HANA, AWS, and private AI models. The engagement combined UI/UX design, frontend and backend engineering, AI development, and data engineering to deliver a specialized FinTech solution for treasury intelligence.

The overall objective was to transform fragmented financial information into a unified, secure, and actionable platform that helps CFOs and treasury teams improve liquidity visibility, anticipate financial risks, and make better-informed decisions.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

VKreatelabs made significant progress in delivering a comprehensive treasury intelligence platform, including the CFO Cockpit, Treasury Desk, and proprietary AI engine. The key outcomes included:

1. Unified Financial Visibility: Consolidated financial information from sources such as SAP, bank statements, and forecasts into a more coherent view of the organization's cash position and liquidity.
2. Improved Liquidity Monitoring: Delivered dashboards that compare available cash against upcoming payments and minimum safe cash thresholds, helping finance leaders assess potential liquidity risks.
3. Scenario-Based Forecasting: Implemented Base, Downside, and Severe scenarios to evaluate different financial conditions and identify when cash could fall below the required minimum. In the case study's sample data, the Severe scenario identified a potential liquidity gap on day 24.
4. AI-Powered Financial Intelligence: Developed a proprietary AI engine that generates plain-English summaries explaining financial changes, key contributing factors, and risks that require attention.
5. Delivery of Core Platform Modules: The case study documented the CFO Cockpit, Liquidity, Forecast, and Cashflow modules as live, while Liquidity Gaps and Group Treasury were listed as in development at the time of the case study.
6. Technical Complexity and Integration: The platform addressed the complexity of consolidating data across multiple countries and currencies. The case study's sample group represented five countries and six currencies.

Overall, the project progressed from fragmented financial information toward an integrated treasury management and financial intelligence platform. The delivered capabilities give finance leaders clearer liquidity visibility, scenario-based cash flow forecasting, and AI-generated insights to support more informed financial decisions.
