Viso was responsible for developing a CRM for our internal use. Their work included:

- Discovery phase(Market/competitor research and figuring our strategy)
- Developing a working CRM with all the functionality needed.
- Developing both desktop and mobile versions of the app.
- Connecting the database to the CRM and all the departments. 
- Delivering a working app and maintaining it while adding new features.

Following Viso's App development, we saw a significant improvement in day-to-day processes and workflow optimisation. Testing showed a 20% increase in productivity, and we received positive feedback from internal teams.

I've been working with Viso on multiple projects. The first project was to create a web based SaaS product that would work with Mailchimp. This product would allow a user to do the following.

• create an account and sign in using LinkedIn auth
• link a user's mailchimp account
• create "smart forms" that would write data to the linked mailchimp account
• create "smart surveys" that would be embedded into an mailchimp account that receipients could take by clicking directly on the "smart survey" in the email and have that data be written directly to the recepient's profile on mailchimp
• create "smart links" that would be a URL that can be used like any other link in a mailchimp email campaign, but would capture and write additional data to the recepient'r profile on Mailchimp

The deliverables was a fully functioning web app. This project was completed on Jan of 2024. The current project that the Viso team is working on now is an Instagram Automation solution, leveraging LLMs

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Throughout the project process, we had daily standups, and incremental releases on features to show progress. Here are some milestones that have been delivered by the Viso team. For the Mailchimp integration project.

      • Based on the answer a recepient, a personalized results would be displayed to the recepient

They're great about communicating the breakdown of large tasks into smaller items, providing estimates, then providing the actual time giving you insights into their estimation process and accuracy of their estimations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Honesty and Engagement. I've worked with several agencies and freelancers and what I've found most impressive of Viso are their honesty and engagement.

  • They will do what they state. I've come across various freelancers who lie about their capabilities, work ethic, and working hours.
  • I've worked with various agencies who make statements and recommendations without researching the technology and dependencies that it jeapordizes projects.
  • Viso has been honest in our working relationship.

  • Which ties in with Honesty. They will engage with you and provide feedback and recommendations. 
  • My past experiences with freelancers are that they will just do what is specified and they will ONLY do what is specified. If something is not spelled out, they will not do it. If something shouldn't be done a certain way, but you've asked them to do it, instead of advising against it, they'll just do it.
  • With Viso, it was more of a collaboration. They provided and acted like the CTO, providing feedback, recommendations and if they did not know, state they didn't know and would research it.
  • We've actually improved on the product because of their recommendations for both tech stack, UI, user flow, and even features.

They care about the success of your project and will advice as if it's their project, even if that means less work for them. It is because of these two factors (as well as their deliverables) that I've been working with them for over a year on multiple projects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Viso could have done differently?

As of now - no. I have not come across a pain points with Viso. They've made my day to day easier. They are able to provide the technical expertise to advise, recommend, research, and execute to bring my projects to life.
