All users and devices are successfully under full management

Microsoft Secure Score increased over 20 points and currently is over 77% (other companies similar size are at 43%)

They always respond in a timely manner and do a great job of keeping the customer happy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very personable which is not always what you get out of IT companies. They do whatever they can to make any situation right. Our business has grown tenfold since we first started with 3 employees and they have helped scale our IT capability.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuworks could have done differently?

I think more reporting could be better. For example, a year end report of all tickets opened/closed etc.

I’m the CIO of Dixie Landscape, a professional landscape design, installation, irrigation, maintenance, and LED lighting services company for residential and commercial clients across Florida. We serve projects of all sizes with a focus on quality and expertise.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve hired Virtuworks for all-encompassing IT support. They’ve set up a remote desktop server to host our ERP, configured our office network, and monitored our cybersecurity. They’ve also helped with employee onboarding, Microsoft licensing, and software maintenance.

We work with 6–10 members of Virtuworks’ team.

How did you come to work with Virtuworks?

We’ve been partnered with them since before I started working at Dixie Landscape. We chose them because they had high ratings, were close to our geographic location, had pricing that fit our budget, and offered good value for the cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together before my time at the company, around July 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t had any cybersecurity breaches. We’ve also seen increased efficiency, reduced downtime, and cost savings.

They’re available 24/7 and deliver on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Virtuworks has excelled in every area, from onboarding to running infrastructure to cybersecurity. Their support is unmatched. They have in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft platform and IT infrastructure.

We needed a third-party IT department to manage our IT, IT procurement, and cybersecurity.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Virtuworks has integrated three different IT departments into a single cohesive one. The team has merged email accounts and Microsoft licenses, centralized IT procurement, and set up cybersecurity protocols, services, and standards. Virtuworks has used Microsoft Suite, SpamExperts, and KnowBe4.

We work with 2–5 teammates from Virtuworks.

Someone referred Virtuworks to me. I chose them over other options because they had high ratings, their pricing fit our budget, and they were referred to me.

We started working with Virtuworks in January 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our IT system is completely centralized, and we've set up the required cybersecurity protocols. Virtuworks has merged 50+ Microsoft accounts. We've gone from almost no cybersecurity protocols to a fully implemented cybersecurity platform with firewalls. Our security breaches and IT issues have strongly gone down.

How did Virtuworks perform from a project management standpoint?

Virtuworks delivers on time and has great customer service. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

I'm impressed with Virtuworks' customer service.

Virtuworks is a little slow on some issue response times, but resolves all critical issues immediately

What was the scope of their involvement?

VirtuWorks acts as our help desk, purchases and configures new hardware for our corporate offices, runs the VoIP systems for many of the communities we manage, and serves as the system admin for our Microsoft tenant. The team also acts as consultants as we continue to grow and build out our tenant and how it’s utilized.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

VirtuWorks has been a great partner as our company has undergone major changes. Most recently, they helped our parent company with a Microsoft migration after acquiring another company. VirtuWorks set up a cross-collaboration between two different Microsoft tenants that have allowed the two management companies to work together across tenants. It united employees by allowing us to work together more seamlessly.

How did VirtuWorks perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via email and messaging apps primarily, but also have scheduled check-ins via Teams meetings.

VirtuWorks is solution-oriented.
