What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
One of the KPIs are targeted keywords. Over just a few months, they’ve increased our keywords by over 800 total keyword positions. Organic traffic increased by about 9% from January to February. They increased our number of clicks by about 7% over this same period.
How did Victorious perform from a project management standpoint?
Our main contact is on top of everything. I’ve worked with a lot of account managers, and she’s the first one I don’t have to follow up with on certain things. Right after calls, she lets us know what she needs from us and what we need from them. They deliver on every request that we have and every promise they give. We mainly communicate by email, but we also have weekly to monthly calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a very good setup and are well-organized. They’re clear about what the deliverables are going to be and provide constant reminders about those deliverables. There has never been a question about what we’re getting from the investment. Victorious has a good, well-refined process that delivers, and that has given them much success.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only gripe I have is that they weren’t too familiar with our industry. We run into this a lot because it’s a very niche industry.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
They should ask questions. Often times, people aren’t entirely sure what goes into SEO work. Victorious is incredibly knowledgeable, and, if our account manager doesn’t know something, they’ll be frank about it and come back with an answer or whatever mitigation is needed.
I’m very knowledgeable about SEO, so I can talk to them on a technical level, but their team is great about explaining SEO in terms that our upper management can understand, along with the value that it provides. That makes my life a lot easier, and it definitely speaks to the benefits that they provide.
