BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the co-owner of M.C. Detailing. We are a mobile detailing company that serves Calgary and the surrounding area.

For what projects/services did your company hire Verakossa Web Design, and what were your goals?

We hired Verakossa to build our website so we could get new business and allow clients to book appointments and purchase gift cards online.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose Verakossa to build our website as we really like their monthly pricing model. We were able to get a custom coded website (and all other required services) for just $140 a month instead of paying $4000+ upfront for the same thing. It made much more financial sense for our business especially when we were just starting out.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had an initial meeting to go over the website requirements (basic website pages, booking system, gift card purchasing). Verakossa then came back to us with a design and we finalized it after a few tweaks. After a few weeks Verakossa had a website for us to test out / make changes to. Once we went live we were able to send new content to Verakossa which they updated the site with promptly.

Mitchell was our main point of contact and developer for the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our website we did see a big increase in business and had a pretty good google ranking for detailing in Calgary after about a year. Our customers loved that they were able to book online as well.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Most of our communication was in person, and over email or the phone. Verakossa always replied within an hour or two which we really liked as we were able to get things done fast.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They gave us a super professional, fast website for an excellent price. The monthly subscription is perfect for a small business like ours who doesn't want to spend thousands of dollars up front. I was also very impressed with how fast the website was built.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing I can think of. We never had any issues with Verakossa.
