I’m the managing director of Aircat Vessels, a ship manufacturer.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vbiz Solutions?

Our company was very new, and we needed to get organized. I was looking at CRM software, and it was either very complicated or too simple. We needed a flexible tool that would meet our needs and act as a task manager with reminders, schedules, and follow-up. We needed someone to develop our web app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Vbiz Solutions developed our web application. They designed it according to our exact needs. On occasion, they even proposed some features that we retained.

We gave them an idea of how we wanted the app to look and function. I gave them my credentials to go onto our hosting plan so that they could know the database. We did some tests, and then we had them wipe out all the data that we used during the test so we could start fresh. We now have a fully functional web-based application.

How did you come to work with Vbiz Solutions?

I found them on Fiverr. They had really good communication. I was very precise in what I was expecting from them. I contacted a lot of people, but Vbiz Solutions responded quickly and showed me two applications that they’d made. They gave me the credentials to use them and to check them out. I really liked some of the features. They were what I was looking for.

How much have you invested with them?

My company spent less than $400.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2019–January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We received a tool at a very reasonable price that works perfectly well and is a great fit for our organization. If we requested improvements, Vbiz Solutions reacted quickly. We now have everything organized in the same space, so we don’t forget any tasks. We’re much more organized and competent because of them; they changed our lives.

We will be contacting them again to develop a smartphone app. I trust them to do it. I’m very demanding, and they really managed to fulfill all of my needs. They’re professional.

How did Vbiz Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

As long as I was clear and precise in the description of features that I wanted, they gave me a schedule and respected it. I changed the features along the way, but they were flexible. We corresponded on WhatsApp, which was very convenient for me; I could take screenshots. It was a very good experience. It was really nice having one point of contact.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re professional and maintain a high level of responsiveness.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They understood my needs because they were well expressed. Try to be as objective as possible.

I run a laundry company. Using an app, customers can place orders. Then, we pick up, wash them, and deliver them back to their owner.

We needed to develop our app and run digital advertising for the product. It was also important to create a website that would educate the public about our services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

From scratch, they designed a website and app. They led me through the development step by step because I had limited prior tech knowledge. At this point, they’ve developed the Android app, but they’ll create an iOS version soon as well. The site is now up and running.

What is the team composition?

I spoke directly with their owner and two other team members. One of them was our account manager, and we spoke every day.

I initially found them on Fiverr, and they seemed like tech-savvy people.

We spent about $5,000 on their services.

We started working together in July 2018, and they completed the work in August 2018.

They’re great with communication, replying almost instantly to my emails. I’m more than satisfied with the quality of the finished products.

They’re communicative and took project management seriously from start to finish.

They showcased timeliness in meeting our goals and were responsive throughout.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything, so I was very impressed.

They were an offshore team for us, but that shouldn’t be a limiting factor when working with them.
