Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the project manager of a company called 4OpenMind, and we focus on providing education about fertility problems in Poland.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with uWebs?

We needed an online education platform where we could hold online conferences during the COVID period.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

 uWebs built a platform called cooperationivf.eu where we can stream and collect all the video records in the platform. They developed it from scratch using Java languages and the YARN framework, hosted on AWS.

We've got two types of users in the web app; The first user is a lecturer who uploads e-learning materials for doctors, and the doctors who can store materials through a cloud system within the app. They also built a similar system for Polish scientists, and they're currently offering maintenance services for the platform.

What is the team composition?

I mainly work with a project manager and two developers.

How did you come to work with uWebs?

I came across their company online and selected them among 10 other vendors because of their cost-effective rate and quality of solutions.

How much have you invested with them?

The website is roughly $5,000, and we've spent about $120,000 on the app's development.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in March 2019. It's still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They helped us build a platform where we can keep and share that sensitive data, and they're continuing to maintain and implement an international payment system to make it more global.

How did uWebs perform from a project management standpoint?

They consistently meet deadlines and stay within our budget. Communication is mostly through email, ClickUp, and chatbox they built for the platform. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We're impressed with their technical expertise — they have the best services among their competition.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing they need to improve on because our cooperation has been smooth and easy.

Any advice for potential customers?

My only advice is to hire them if you're looking for a cost-effective solution for your product.

I’m the CEO and owner of a music marketplace platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with uWebs?

We needed someone to develop a web app where musicians can sell their services and gain access to different processes like royalty and licensing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We brought in uWebs for their web app development services. They first presented the concept of their project and after getting our approval, they got started on the technical development phase. Apart from the technical aspect and process, they help us build the algorithm of our product as well.

The app is currently available in the Polish market, but we’re continuing to work with uWebs in expanding to other markets in the future.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is the project manager and two programmers.

How did you come to work with uWebs?

We came across uWebs while searching for suitable vendors online. We chose to work with them based on their professionalism and experience.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent about €1 million (approximately $1 million).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in January 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team is able to implement a nice UI/UX design, execute all the features we need, and consistently resolve any technical issues that come up.

How did uWebs perform from a project management standpoint?

uWebs performs well from a project management perspective. We meet up with them on a monthly basis where we will provide feedback and they’ll provide us with reports on any developments and findings in the process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed by the quality of their engineers and developers. They have advanced technical knowledge which they use to continuously improve our product and identify solutions to problems.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they need to change or improve on.
