For what projects/services did your company hire USEFULSHINE?

We needed our own cryptocurrency created, and some smart contracts related to it, along with a lot of blockchain consulting as we were very new to this field.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals for this project were to move ahead and do experiments with blockchain technology and also improve our app stack and technology stack.

How did you select this vendor?

Our team searched for some companies providing services and we came across the USEFULSHINE website. It seemed good and they were readily available, so we selected this vendor.

Describe the project in detail.

Once we selected this vendor, we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. Within the first two weeks, we received mockups and three initial designs for the iOS and Android apps, and the logic structure for the smart contract. After a few iterations and discussions with our marketing team, we finalized the design and provided feedback. The vendor came back to us with wireframes and concepts for our other sections in the app, including an updated "contact us" and "buy coin" form.

What was the team composition?

Initially, we were assigned a project manager to support us and serve as the main point of contact throughout the project. I only spoke with our project manager, but I was made aware that there were four Solidity Developers, two Auditors, two frontend and two backend developers, as well as a QA resource working behind the scenes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within three months after our new app was launched, we saw over 1,000 downloads and over 4-star ratings in both app stores. The new design of the contact form makes it much more accessible on the app, and we've received more inquiries in the past month than we did in the previous six months combined. We continue to hear positive feedback on the usability, flow, and look of the app both from existing and potential customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that we were assigned was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We connected over the phone at least once a week and used Slack for all other communication. Overall, I was impressed by the timeliness of the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by the knowledge that this vendor had about Blockchain, mobile app development, user experience, and optimization. We learned much more than we thought possible, and we appreciated that they were patient and thoughtful while we came up to speed. We have worked with other agencies for different areas of the company, but this was a particularly collaborative and positive experience. I will certainly engage with this company again for any Blockchain and mobile app needs that we have in the future.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything has been done quickly and in a very efficient way. This team is top-quality in every area.
