I'm the founder and CEO of a company called Heatbit. We make electric heaters that mine bitcoin.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ruport Agency?

We hired Ruport Agency to do market research, customer research, web development, digital marketing, and social media marketing and management for us.

What is the scope of their involvement?

Ruport Agency provides us with a variety of services, ranging from market and customer research to web development and social media marketing.

They first helped us do market and customer research to get a better understanding of our audience’s needs, especially what specific things they liked and disliked about our products. We also conducted interviews with clients to get more in-depth feedback. After that, their team built our website using Webflow. They mostly handled the design work, but they had to employ some coders to integrate the site with Shopify properly.

Currently, they’re creating content and running ad campaigns for our social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter.

What is the team composition?

We work with about five people from their side. We’re in touch with the account management team, media management team, and a couple of strategists.

How did you come to work with Ruport Agency?

We found out about them through a friend. We also noticed that they had a good reputation, which is one of the reasons why we decided to work with their team.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent between $50,000–$100,000.

What is the status of the engagement?

We started our partnership in May 2022, and it's still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received a lot of positive comments from our clients regarding the content that they’ve seen on our social media channels and website. As a matter of fact, there was one YouTuber who had mixed feelings about the product we were selling, but he also gave a lot of kudos to how we communicated the content on our site. 

Moreover, we've been growing pretty fast on Twitter, and a big reason for this is the quality of the content we publish. Twitter is our main social media at the moment, so the quality of content there is one of our main growth drivers.

How did Ruport Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve performed very well from a project management perspective. They have a dedicated account manager who is very responsive and thorough and always follows through. Also, whenever we need something from them, they respond to us quickly.

We use Google Docs and Sheets to manage the project. For communication, we interact with them via Telegram.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like the fact that they have a pretty comprehensive team. Whenever we have a specific request, they have the necessary resources who can handle it — we don’t have to search for another agency.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They need to gain more experience in our industry. It takes time to get them to understand our business and requirements, but they learn very fast.

Any advice for potential customers?

Try them out first by doing small projects. If you end up liking the results, then move on to bigger projects.

Ruport Agency were chosen by a panel of young people to work on a brand identity and some communications assets for a new global youth-led environmental campaigning network -Youth for Our Planet.

How did you select this vendor?

Proposals invited from a range of design agencies and freelancers. Three shortlisted suppliers were scored against the invitation to quote by the young people leading on communications for YFOP. Ruport Agency scored highest and were selected.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

Starting with just a description of the aims and format of YFOP and a list of concepts and associations to inspire visual metaphors, Ruport Agency worked up an initial selection of concepts and colour schemes. The youth selected their preferred design (a circle logo with a Y in it to evoke 'Ban The Bomb' but upside down with a globe to indicate youth changing the world) and this was refined in light of comments and final assets created and supplied.

A creative team of three from Ruport Agency attended each meeting and were receptive on email. I can't remember their job titles.

YFOP has grown into a solid and influential global network, and the visual identity has been applied on a website and countless campaign assets over the past 2 years.

At the meeting with the agency, I talked about my business goals and how I envisioned the website. I answered some clarifying questions and filled out the brief that the project manager sent me. The next step was creating prototypes of the pages. Communication was consistent, and the manager sent me prototypes for my comments. Then came the design stage. The agency showed me the design concept, which we approved on the first try. After that, the website was coded. After some minor revisions regarding the website sections, I approved it.

After series of discovery meetings to discuss our views and goals, we recieved 3 initial designs for the main page on the site. Once we chose a theme and style, they finalized the design and came back to us with designs for our other pages.

We got modern actual web design and till now continue to hear positive feedback and compliements from visitors and clients about the design.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We had both in-person meetings and phone calls. Everything was delivered on time.

We were most impressed by their way of view of web design and understanding how to realize our wishes in the best way.

Things could always be done faster, but the quality is more important than speed, and we ended up with a beautiful product.
