I’m the COO and founder of a venture-backed fintech company for real estate investors. We provide a banking and financial management platform designed for real estate investors.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Unicrow to accomplish for your platform?

We hired Unicrow to build and manage our full public website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Unicrow has owned the end-to-end development and management of our website for the last five years. The project has been very broad in scope. The team works closely with our designers to execute and manage the website. We’ve been through four website redesigns with them, and each time, they’ve done a fantastic job. Unicrow handles the full frontend and backend CMS of the website. The first websites were built on WordPress at our request. We later decided to migrate to Webflow, and Unicrow rebuilt the whole site on Webflow and perfectly managed the transition.

We work with 2–5 teammates from Unicrow.

How did you come to work with Unicrow?

They were referred to me. I chose them over other options because of the very strong referral from my network + they had high ratings, a great culture fit, good value for cost, and high quality delivered on reference projects.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our website traffic has grown from zero when we started to a very large amount today. We now have hundreds of thousands of active users a month. Unicrow has been critical in supporting this journey. Our conversion rate has also increased significantly since we started working with them.

How did Unicrow perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re meticulous and very organized. They always deliver on time and go above and beyond to hit deadlines. We communicate via virtual meetings and slack. Communication is smooth and easy. They really operate as part of our team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their speed to output and quality of delivery are highly impressive.

We needed support to build our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Unicrow has designed and developed our mobile and web applications, including backend development. The team has built a myriad of features, including authentication, iOS and Android apps with complex UIs for content creation and consumption, and optimized video streaming.

Unicrow was referred to me. I chose them because their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

We started working together in December 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The end product we’ve built is unique, and the execution has been of very high quality. As a result, Playbook has been acquired by a larger UK-based competitor. User feedback and adoption have always been strong. Our main product features continue to serve very large international customers as they have been initially developed.

How did Unicrow perform from a project management standpoint?

Unicrow delivers on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Building a brand-new product from an idea has many challenges and requires major changes along the way. Unicrow has been able to execute on those in very flexible and pragmatic ways. Their deep subject matter expertise enables them to offer solutions that are realistic, creative, and efficient.
