• As a healthcare provider firm, we required a special mobile application that would enhance patient engagement, simplify the process of appointment scheduling and provide real-time access to the medical records of the patient and therefore ensure compliance with industry regulations. The aim of the final project was to create an environment where a secure, user-friendly and scalable solution could be provided that catered to both the demands of the patients and the medical professionals. Prior to engaging with Ultrashield Technology we had several issues relying on outdated systems which led to inefficiencies within the many different appointment scheduling processes and poor communication between healthcare providers and their respective patients. We required a smooth and high-performing mobile application that would be able to operate alongside our existing healthcare management systems and therefore enhance the experience of patients and staff in its entirety.

The scope of work for the project included the design, development and creation of a fully functional mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms to integrate a secure patient portal, build an AI-driven chatbot for patient queries and create an automated patient appointment scheduling system. In addition the real-time notification of prescription refills, results and follow-up reminders were all required by the mobile application. The application was also required to integrate with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems which allowed medical staff to view patient histories and facilitate real-time record updates.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results surpassed our expectations which we had initially anticipated. The mobile app has improved patient engagement and satisfaction massively by streamlining the patient-to-provider communication and patient waiting times as well as dynamically reducing the time that staff are required to spend on time-related tasks. Scheduling of appointments has increased so too have the administrative pressures that staff are faced with reduced significantly which has also provided staff a great deal of ease due to there being less management of time-related activities. The integration with the EMR system has allowed us to have instant access to all patients' data; it has also improved the accuracy of our diagnosis and how we use treatment planning.

The scope of work involved designing a visually attractive website with a fluid and responsive interface, integration of real-time leaderboards, the setting up of secure account management systems and also optimization of the backend performance to handle high traffic loads. They also implemented API connections to our previous game database so that real-time updates could be picked up on the player statistics, in-game purchases and also community events.

The impact of Ultrashield Technology’s work was both immediate and highly positive. The new development platform introduced to the market improved loading speeds, and the overall user experience level greatly increased. The integrated game-related features and standard player actions that were introduced facilitated smoother gameplay for the users and by adding security measures to the website there was an improved environment for transactions and account management. The new UI/UX design introduced to the market increased ease of use for the players, in addition to improving retention rates and lowering browsing dropouts.

The scope of the work included designing an intuitive user interface which will have a robust backend infrastructure which will house all of the necessary data. AI driven tools will also be integrated in to the system to do the data analysis and predictive marketing insight will be automated into the system. Key deliverables which will be provided to the client are a real time dashboard for monitoring of all of the clients campaigns and click-through rate, AI driven content recommendations which will assist in generating new content and client reports which will cut down on manual data entry. The team will also need to ensure the smooth API integrations that already exist with the existing CRM and marketing tools allowing all of the systems to be integrated into a single solution.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The transformation was remarkable. The redesign in to the offering provided the opportunity for greater than traditional efficiency for multiple campaigns to be managed in a quicker manner. By using the new platform it was now possible to perform manual work in a much more efficient and productive manner improving accuracy of overall strategies beyond what was previously possible. Due to our clients creating a much more positive and positive user experience the engagement of clients improved greatly with the platform.
