I am the owner of A.W.Chris. We are a full service photography company, offering everything from business head shots, family, children, and high school senior portraits, to youth sports and school photography.

We have ongoing web hosting with The Turn Group and we have consulted multiple times for our web site needs.

What were your goals for this project?

As a professional photographer, the goal is always to get our message out to the right people. Pre-qualified clients are always better than reaching the ones that will never use our services.

How did you select this vendor?

I had used other companies in the past. I formed a relationship with the owner of The Turn Group and, through discussion, moved everything over to their servers.

In the near future, we will be reworking our web site, streamlining it and making sure we reach the right audience.

What was the team composition?

While I know there are a team of people. I have only visited with the one person, which works for me.

I have had no downtime with my web site and the customer service is exemplary.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The Turn Group works very efficiently. They usually are ready for more information and project pieces from me before I'm ready to submit them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They truly want to produce what you want and need. Other companies are simply trying to produce what they want, and usually more, more, more.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can't think of anything that needs improving off the top of my head.

In 2014 I decided I needed a website to help promote and grow my existing business. Being somewhat tech savvy, I researched what language to use and chose Joomla.

What were your goals for this project?

Next I proceeded to build my own website. I quickly realized that no one could find my website, but I was not sure why. Having heard about SEO, I began to do some research. That is when I realized I needed help. This was far above my pay grade.

So, in 2015, I reached out to The Turn Group and Rodney (President, The Turn Group) and his team for help. I am glad I found him, as I had no idea how much help I needed until I met Rodney. In addition to re-building my website and SEO assistance, he convinced me that I needed a “brand” and a “logo” to help market my business. Okay, why do I need that and who does that, I asked?

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Today, my website is #1 on the first page of Google search results in my industry. Ask yourself how often you scroll to page #2 or #3 on Google? Not very often. Most people click on the top listing. That is my site. Clicks equal revenue. Need I say more?
