Infrastructure Optimization: Improved the Supabase and AWS architecture, addressing recurring connection pool restarts and RPC timeouts by refining query logic, caching strategies, and system resource allocation.
Performance Engineering: Profiled and optimized RPC and SQL functions for better concurrency and lower latency during heavy data retrieval (e.g., dashboards and large project queries).
Automation & Queue Management: Contributed to the SQS-based job distribution system, enhancing throughput and reducing processing delays for multi-terabyte bat data uploads.
Monitoring & Reliability: Implemented system metrics and EC2 resource monitoring to track CPU, memory, and disk utilization, ensuring proactive scaling and reduced downtime.
Collaboration: Worked closely with the BioSonic team to debug complex production issues and document solutions, ensuring long-term maintainability and knowledge transfer.

Impact:
Hammad’s has created our web portal from scratch and built it out to be a high performant system in 4 months from nothing. He has reduced system errors, speed up API calls, handing on the fly issues and been owning the work from the start

Perhaps even better comunication on tasks so we're completely alligned. We've been working on extreme deadlines and mostly we've been on par so not a big issue
