The scope of work involved custom website design and development tailored to the podcast’s unique needs. The project requirements included a homepage, main podcast and individual episode pages, about us pages, blogs, forms, as well as contact and book coaching pages. Robust functionality was necessary to host, organize, and effectively showcase podcast content. Additional requirements focused on creating an intuitive, user-friendly interface, optimizing content accessibility, and designing features to enhance user engagement and streamline the delivery of podcast episodes.

Key deliverables consisted of a user-friendly website featuring an intuitive content management system (CMS) for the efficient updating and publishing of new podcast episodes, search capabilities, interactive features such as video thumbnail autoplay on hover and coaching bookings, seamless integration with popular podcast streaming platforms, and a responsive design optimized for all devices. Troon also provided branding support to elevate our visual identity, aligning it with the holistic health and wellness focus of our content. Troon was engaged as a development partner to revamp an online platform that provides a secure and engaging space for delivering high-quality educational content. The platform also supports staff and volunteer training through a dedicated online space. We required a platform that could be seamlessly updated and optimized to ensure the best user experience.

The existing platform needed a significant technical upgrade. With hundreds of records and thousands of content pieces, it was crucial to update and optimize the system without disrupting the user experience. The goal was to develop an impactful, streamlined tool to enhance both content delivery and administration.

Troon began the process with a comprehensive platform audit. After identifying the best server configuration that balanced cost, maintenance, and security, Troon migrated the platform and upgraded it from Drupal 9 to Drupal 10. Custom modules were developed to address specific issues, and improvements were made to user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) features.

In addition to the upgrade, Troon delivered detailed technical documentation and developed new administration and reporting tools to enhance the platform’s long-term viability.
