What challenge were you trying to address with TraviYo?

We needed help designing and developing a custom travel CRM and travel portal that could centralize bookings, manage customer and agent data, and improve operational efficiency. The objective was to create a scalable, user-friendly platform that supports end-to-end travel management while integrating smoothly with our existing processes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TraviYo handled the end-to-end development of a custom travel CRM and travel portal. The scope included requirement gathering, system architecture planning, UI/UX design, backend and frontend development, and integration of core travel management features. Key deliverables included a centralized CRM for customer and agent management, booking and inquiry management modules, role-based access, reporting capabilities, and a web-based travel portal to support day-to-day operations. The project also covered testing, deployment, and post-launch support.TraviYo built the core system in-house, including the custom travel CRM, customer and agent management modules, booking and inquiry management, role-based access controls, and reporting dashboards. They also developed the main travel portal interface and handled backend logic and integrations required for day-to-day operations. Our internal team was involved mainly in providing requirements, feedback, and testing support. No major parts of the development were outsourced to another vendor.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project resulted in a more structured and efficient travel operations workflow. With the new CRM and travel portal in place, we were able to centralize customer and agent data, reduce manual coordination, and improve response times for inquiries and bookings. System stability and usability improved post-launch, and the platform provided better visibility into operations through reporting and dashboards, which helped the team make more informed decisions.After implementation, manual coordination and data entry were reduced by approximately 25%–30% due to centralized CRM workflows. Response times for customer and agent inquiries improved by around 20%, as information and booking details were easier to access in one system. We also saw a gradual increase in booking efficiency, with a noticeable improvement in how quickly inquiries were converted into confirmed bookings, driven by better tracking and follow-ups through the travel portal.We observed positive changes in customer feedback after the new system was launched. Faster response times and more accurate booking information led to fewer follow-up queries and smoother interactions overall. While we didn’t run a formal satisfaction survey, qualitative feedback from customers and internal users indicated an improved experience and better consistency in service delivery.

How did TraviYo perform from a project management standpoint?

TraviYo’s project management was well-structured and transparent. They followed a defined delivery plan, maintained regular communication, and kept us informed of progress throughout the project. Milestones and key deliverables were completed on time, and any timeline adjustments were discussed in advance, which helped keep expectations aligned. We communicated through virtual meetings, email, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stood out most was the hands-on involvement from Sachin (Founder & CEO) and the team throughout the project. They took time to understand our operational needs and translated them into practical features rather than generic solutions. Their responsiveness, clarity in communication, and problem-solving approach made the collaboration smooth and felt more like working with an extended internal team than an external vendor.

Are there any areas they could improve?

In the early phases, a bit more upfront documentation around edge cases could have helped reduce a few clarification cycles later on. There were also moments where tighter alignment on minor feature priorities would have saved some iteration time. That said, the team was receptive to feedback and quick to adapt, which ensured the project stayed on track and met our expectations.
