More than 80% of BOGE employees actively use the app, replacing the company's previous reliance on analog boards for internal communication. This high adoption rate has also strengthened brand perception and employee loyalty, as staff engage more directly with company news, benefits, and leadership through the platform.

The main added value of the final outcome was the delivery of an interactive, user-customizable cycle diagram report in Power BI that improved our construction planning. The final product met all our requirements and objectives, with iterative adjustments made based on our feedback. Key benefits for our company are:

- Independence from our outdated software – A complete transition to Power BI without needing to rely on the old system.

- Data centralization – All information, including the cycle diagram, is now available in Power BI.

The second stage involved the UX/UI design phase. Following that, the Touch4IT team commenced native mobile development for both iOS and Android platforms. 

We are currently still working together on the application's development, and the Touch4IT team also provides ongoing support with guaranteed availability. The entire process was suggested and designed by our company.

Thanks to our tech partner - Touch4IT - we were able to successfully plan and execute global campaigns for our major clients. The latest campaign was for the Nashville Predators, Dr. Pepper, and Kroger. With our cutting-edge AR technology, customers could scan a package of Dr. Pepper's new beverage and gain access to exclusive video content with special features. 

The campaign was promoted through the NHL Nashville Predators official website. One of the campaigns was also a campaign for Papa Johns and Netspend plunged into augmented reality (AR) through an eGift promotion in partnership with Shaq’s Fun House presented by Netspend. Consumers learned about the campaign courtesy of the Instagram hub hosted by basketball great Shaquille O’Neal. Because the Papa Johns/Netspend promotion used WebAR technology, consumers didn’t have to download an app to trigger the augmented experience. They also didn’t need any additional hardware, like a VR headset. They see the dollar bill come alive directly on their phone screen.

The company is extremely organized and remains engaged and constantly updating you via Slack daily. Additionally, their level of productivity and product output is quite incredible given that our product is the first of its kind, leveraging and splicing various dev languages and design components that had not knowingly even been done before -- blending 2D and 3D. Furthermore, it is way easier for a dev team to work with a large company that has a massive budget. 

For those startups like us with a razor-thin budget, it truly takes a masterful and coordinated team like Touch4IT. Above all else? Their friendly culture and openness to change were impressive. They continually adapted as our roadblocks and issues evolved. This was the difference-maker for us and kept us afloat.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Touch4IT could have done differently?

We are pleased with our cooperation and satisfied with the solutions delivered by the company, including their communication. We have not identified any areas where we could have done things differently or improved. The only thing that we would have done differently is met them in person sooner! Their CEO Matej is such a dynamic, personable leader.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Touch4IT, and what were your goals?

We needed to develop a mobile application (for both platforms: Android and iOS) to manage charging AC electric vehicles. We desired the application with features such as easy search for charging stations on the map, control over starting and ending the charging, checking real-time availability of chargers, having up-to-date information on charging prices for its users, vehicle navigation system and many others.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our goal was to find a company that would understand our business model, our needs, and our requirements; with a long-term experience in mobile app development. We did complex research among companies in Central Europe and based on our criteria, we chose the Touch4IT company, which appeared to be the best choice for us based on their services and experience.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The first stage of the process was product specification - with the Touch4IT team we looked at our old solution and together we defined a new MVP product - a native mobile app for electric vehicle charging. The second stage was UX/UI design phase. After that, the Touch4IT team started native mobile development (iOS and Android platforms).

We still continue in the development of the application together, and the Touch4IT team also provides support with guaranteed availability. The whole process was suggested and designed by the company, as well.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The company's team that we worked with involved these active roles: project manager, UX/UI designer, and mobile developers (developers who specialize in native mobile development).

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The GreenWay mobile application is the main tool for charging electric vehicles, therefore it is the key platform for our company, as well. It is important to ensure that our clients (users) are able to use the app on daily basis, whenever they need and as easily and intuitively as possible - and that it is a fully functional app. Then it is a success for our entire company.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The cooperation between both teams was excellent: we appreciate active communication and active feedback. Thanks to these factors we could always anticipate and eliminate all risks in advance. We are satisfied and really see only the positives in the cooperation.

We are not aware of anything we could have done differently or better. We are really satisfied with the cooperation including communication with the company and the solutions they deliver.
