More than 80% of BOGE employees actively use the app, replacing the company's previous reliance on analog boards for internal communication. The main added value of the final outcome was the delivery of an interactive, user-customizable cycle diagram report in Power BI that improved our construction planning. The final product met all our requirements and objectives, with iterative adjustments made based on our feedback. Key benefits for our company are:

- Independence from our outdated software – A complete transition to Power BI without needing to rely on the old system.

- Data centralization – All information, including the cycle diagram, is now available in Power BI.

Thanks to our tech partner - Touch4IT - we were able to successfully plan and execute global campaigns for our major clients. The latest campaign was for the Nashville Predators, Dr. Pepper, and Kroger. With our cutting-edge AR technology, customers could scan a package of Dr. Pepper's new beverage and gain access to exclusive video content with special features. 

The campaign was promoted through the NHL Nashville Predators official website. One of the campaigns was also a campaign for Papa Johns and Netspend plunged into augmented reality (AR) through an eGift promotion in partnership with Shaq’s Fun House presented by Netspend. Consumers learned about the campaign courtesy of the Instagram hub hosted by basketball great Shaquille O’Neal. Because the Papa Johns/Netspend promotion used WebAR technology, consumers didn’t have to download an app to trigger the augmented experience. They also didn’t need any additional hardware, like a VR headset. They see the dollar bill come alive directly on their phone screen.

The company is extremely organized and remains engaged and constantly updating you via Slack daily. Additionally, their level of productivity and product output is quite incredible given that our product is the first of its kind, leveraging and splicing various dev languages and design components that had not knowingly even been done before -- blending 2D and 3D. Furthermore, it is way easier for a dev team to work with a large company that has a massive budget. 

For those startups like us with a razor-thin budget, it truly takes a masterful and coordinated team like Touch4IT. Above all else? Their friendly culture and openness to change were impressive. They continually adapted as our roadblocks and issues evolved. This was the difference-maker for us and kept us afloat.

We needed to develop a mobile application (for both platforms: Android and iOS) to manage charging AC electric vehicles. We desired the application with features such as easy search for charging stations on the map, control over starting and ending the charging, checking real-time availability of chargers, having up-to-date information on charging prices for its users, vehicle navigation system and many others.

Please describe your company and your position there.

Our spinoff sister company SKIWISE provides a modern system solution for ticket sales in ski and mountain resorts with the focus on maximizing the share of customer registrations and identified revenue. My position is CFO in SKIWISE.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Touch4IT, and what were your goals?

Based on previous good experiences, we approached Touch4IT as a technology partner to help us create a modern, custom software for the Annaberg ski resort and launch it for the first season.

Ski resorts represent a sphere that is very popular in the winter holiday season. Still, it is a sphere with a very low level of digitization or tracking of visitors' journeys, too. And our goal was (and still is) to change that. To bring innovative software to this area to help them partially automate ticket sales and increase sales (and thus center attendance). To help them better tailor their services to customers and increase their satisfaction.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

As I wrote before — we chose Touch4IT based on our good previous cooperation. We knew their way of working and the quality of the outputs, so we knew that they would be a good choice for this project as well.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Touch4IT was helping us from the first step — from the definition and specialization of the entire product. They took it all under their roof: they selected the hardware for the kiosks, created the design for the kiosk and e-shop, and then developed it.

They redesigned the entire (current) purchase flow in order to make the new flow better and more intuitive for all visitors. They took care of the complete infrastructure of the whole solution — putting the device in operation, interfacing with the POS system, with the financial management, etc.

They covered all spheres: frontend, backend, devops and infrastructure. So, they've developed a system consisting of several smaller system parts. Some of them are also cloud based (kiosk, backoffice, e-shop, cash register, etc.).They helped us with support and maintenance throughout the first season.

We have created the kiosk system, through which a visitor of the ski resort can easily and quickly buy a ticket via a charge card, pay by card (or they can also pay in cash) and just enjoy their stay at the resort.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

From our side, it was our CEO, CFO, Product Manager, Project Manager, and Engineer responsible for the infrastructure. From the side of Touch4IT it was their Project Manager, Frontend Developers, Backend Developers, DevOps Engineers, UX/UI Designers, and Software Engineers (infrastructure), but also one of their Executive Directors, who had a great impact on the overall process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This software solution improves the entire ticket purchase flow in the ski resort. It helps to monitor customers and their journey, their behavior and adapt the provided services to their needs. We have already implemented this full-fledged and functional software in the Lipno recreation center.

We rate it very well. The communication was on a regular level and we were always informed about everything. We knew exactly what stage the project was in, what we had done and what awaited us.

For us — as a client — it was great to find a technology partner who can handle everything for us: from design, through development to system support. It is a huge added value for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Together we have created a quality digital product (custom software), which is fully functional and used in ski resorts. In the future, if it needs to be updated or improved, we will definitely contact Touch4IT again.
