Our platform was created a few years ago and was outdated. We needed to rewrite the codebase of different languages and rethink the structure of it in order to be able to scale it up. We are in the business of SaaS. Thinksoft has been helping us immensely

Thinksoft LLC was referred to us and I had shortlisted 3 potential partners. Thinksoft was the best of the 3

We started with different meetings to understand our goals and devise a strategy and roadmap. Thinksoft and use commonly use Jira and Slack to measure the KPI and deliverables

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since working with Thinksoft we have noticed a great reduction of bugs on our platform (-30%) and a significant reduction of time to deliver new SaaS. We are therefore very happy about it

Very fluid and efficient. We use Slack and Jira

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We have bi-weekly calls with the team leader who then passes on to the rest of the team our indications. The team leader and other members are always extremely reliable and available for calls and/or chats on Slack

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really, to be honest. We are 100% satisfied with their services so far.

I’m the CTO of a digital insurance company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Thinksoft LLC?

We needed help with frontend development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Thinksoft LLC works on the frontend development of our platform. The work they do is an important part of our business.

They switched us from one frontend technology — the Elm framework — to a new one — React.js — to leverage existing components and libraries on the market, including Material-UI, and integrate it with style components and React. Thinksoft LLC redesigned our frontend distribution channel as well.

Another aspect was creating a framework that would allow us to develop, maintain, and optimize our sales funnels independent of any frontend work. It was basically a no-code or low-code solution where we have a configuration for a complete sales funnel.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact is with their CTO. There’s one developer.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April–June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The developer they provided is like an extension to our team. He was onboarded very quickly. Almost from day one, he was active and contributing to the codebase. He was a very good specialist in a very broad number of technologies. He could pick up new technologies and new projects very quickly. Our tech lead was very happy with his availability and expertise.

How did Thinksoft LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very responsive. We were able to sign a contract within a couple of weeks. They’re very friendly and open, and they understood all the specifics of how to run business with German companies. Everything was openly discussed and negotiated. It was very positive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

If I have ad hoc or long-term needs, I can fill the gap with Thinksoft LLC.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could provide additional services in terms of consultancy. If something isn’t working right, they could be a bit more proactive.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The better you express your needs, the better. Be specific. Know what you’re looking for. Be open. Communicate if you like or dislike something. Don’t overcomplicate things.

What challenge were you trying to address with Thinksoft LLC?

We needed a development partner to support our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Thinksoft LLC is responsible for the general maintenance of our platform. The team supports iOS, Android, and web developmen for the solution, which enables users to securely share files. Users have full control over their content, and functionalities include time and review expiration on files. It also provides analytics behind the content shared, so the user knows who’s viewed it and for how long. 

The team uses React and Elm. 

What is the team composition?

We have one main point of contact who’s supported by a larger team.

How did you come to work with Thinksoft LLC?

I’d worked with a senior member of their team before, and when we needed development support, he reached out. We tested Thinksoft LLC with one developer who was very successful, which gave us the confidence to move forward and work with them exclusively.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project began in September 2019 and is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

As our engagement has progressed, we’ve added more developers from Thinksoft LLC’s team. I trust them to put forward the best developers, and they do every time. They’re the first outsourcing company I’ve worked with that feels like an in-house team.

The quality of work they complete and the speed at which they do so has been excellent. They’re great at organizing the structure of the project, so they’re totally prepared and efficient across the team when they start a task. Thinksoft LLC is keen to be part of our team; they participate in daily meetings and make suggestions for improvements.

How did Thinksoft LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been excellent in terms of communication. They’re always available to answer questions or work late if the project requires. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Thinksoft LLC goes above and beyond to be helpful. They’re always willing to go the extra mile to achieve what the business needs.
