We initially had our website built by another developer who stepped away, so we needed a partner to step in and support our CMS, ongoing updates, and new additions to the site, along with special projects.

We brought on CSS Agency, and they’ve been exceptional—especially with our annual Compensation Guide. They supported the design, layout, and integration onto our website. They’re also incredibly responsive, despite the time difference, which has made collaboration easy and efficient.

It's still ongoing but we have been happy with results thus far!

They’ve been extremely responsive. I know the time difference can be tricky—I’ve even missed a few meetings—but they’ve always shown up and stayed on top of everything.

We did run into one hiccup with the release of our Compensation Guide, but I’m confident it’s something they’ll quickly resolve. Overall, everything they’ve delivered has been timely, reliable, and well executed.

What’s been especially impressive is their efficiency and ability to execute quickly without sacrificing quality. For our Compensation Guide, we decided to take a completely new direction from a design standpoint compared to previous years, and they were able to turn around an entirely new design in under two days. That level of speed, flexibility, and responsiveness has made a huge impact on our team.

We've used deliverable milestones to ensure that progress is managed. This was discussed and agreed upon at the earlier stage of the engagement. Those milestones include the completion of the main web page, the UAT of the main web page, the completion of the locations page with data integration, the completion of web templates for editorial use, and the migration of the website.

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

theCSS Agency has delivered on time. Most of the delays have been due to our own internal processes and activities. We communicate via Asana and web meetings.

theCSS Agency is very responsive and has helped us solve some of our inner application needs. They're very professional as a working vendor and are very open and transparent with the work that is being done.

What stood out most was their attitude towards the project. They took the time to truly understand our goals and vision, and approached the work with commitment and care. Rather than pushing back or cutting corners, they consistently did their best to deliver what was needed—often going beyond the brief to make sure the final outcome reflected our aspirations.

Perhaps the only area for improvement could be having slightly more defined project tracking tools or systems in place—but overall, the process was smooth and collaborative.

I'm the Marketing Manager for Lucky Bundle, which is a retail with new concept where we sell various of items at accessible price for all. The concept is treasure hunt outlet where you will never know what you will find and there are "treasures" amongst the items in our bins. We restock the items every week and price drops every day until clearance day.

We needed to create a website with several pages that showcase our brand and company. We already have a Webflow account and we were looking for someone who can help develop our website. Our goals were to develop this whole website so we can operate it later on.

We searched online through various website and we found Viken among other shortlisted candidates. What drew us to Viken was that he spoke with experience, he knew exactly what we needed and how to achieve those. Viken was also very responsive and thus we knew Viken and his team were the right people for this project.

The scope of work include all website development from creating landing pages to other pages as well as several integrated on the website. It started off by the agency provided a layout guide which became the main template of our website. From there, everything follow that. We also had form integration using 3rd party app, make.com because Webflow doesn't host forms. The agency also helped to implement this as well.

Viken was our main point of contact, he is the leader of the company who had been very helpful and attentive since the beginning. He made sure everything was delivered on time and that we understood the way Webflow works. Another person who worked with us was Sanket, who was a developer in Viken's team. Sanket was also very helpful and responsive. If there were problems, he immediately worked on it and provided solutions.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After revamping the website, our overall branding became much better and we had 30% increase in website traffic as well. It also becomes easier for resellers and supplier to submit their form. We now have over 1,000 resellers signed up through the website and the number is still increasing.

We had a slack channel to communicate about our needs daily. When urgent things arosed, they were very quick to respond and fixed the problem. They always respected the deadlines that were set by both parties.

I believe this agency always puts their clients first and thus making them a customer centric company. This is shown through their dedication and great service they provided to their clients. I think this is something impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When they deliver quickly, sometimes it is rushed and there were minor errors were overlooked. I think they can improve more on quality checking and putting attention to detail so that we could reduce the number of revisions.

After the launch, we have seen growth in customers staying on the website and conversion rate has improved as well.

I communicate with one person all the time and that's the best way to do it.

I am very happy about the results and communication. It is a pleasure to work with and build stuff together. I highly recommend this agency to anyone who wants to get things done well and fast.

Everything was done on time. We use Discord for communications and that's great. We also shared Figma files for design purposes.

As always, it's all about people. Viken is a great guy and that what makes this company great.

They could suggest more improvements on what could be done and implemented but I guess that's our problem and we have to thing about it. When we ask smth to do - they do it perfectly and on time.

This project with The CSS Agency was from August–September 2021, but we’re still working with them through some of our customers.

The materials The CSS Agency has provided reflect our company very well. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback about the new logo and website design, so I’d say the partnership has been a success.

The CSS Agency had ensured that their deliverables were finalized on schedule to ensure we had our website up exactly when we needed it. We’ve only had to make a few edits to their designs, which has made the design process very fast.
