Taras and his team at TetaLab are responsible for successfully scaling Flora's iOS app, as well as developing and scaling our Android app from scratch. Our key projects involved:

• iOS App -Refactor major elements of the app, including network functionality between users, database re-architecture, and feature development using a combination of Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C
• Scale the app's infracrtrure and back-end capabilities with Firebase in ensuring we were able to scale from 1000 users to 100k in less than a year -Implementation of several 3rd party tools and frameworks
• Successful iterations of product development through utilizing an agile product development framework Android App
• Create a roadmap for development and public deployment of our Android app, utilizing our existing iOS app as a benchmark
• Develop the Android app and deploy within 6 months (deployed successfully in ~3.5 months), utilizing primarily Kotlin
• Scale the Android app to 10k users and continue feature development using an agile framework

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• iOS App -Successfully scaled the app's infrastructure and back-end capabilities with Firebase in ensuring we were able to scale from 1000 users to 100k in less than a year. With their development team and resources, we were able to scale to 200k users.
• Adopted Agile framework, CLEAN architecture, unit testing, and several other standardized industry practices as a result of their recommendations Android App
• They successfully created our Android app from scratch, within 4 months of ideation and product roadmapping.
• Scaled the Android app to 10k users and continued feature development using an agile framework

Taras and his team are always on-time, and when there are unexpected delays, they are quick to communicate these issues and re-adjust our expectations and roadmaps. Our success has been deeply tied to their successful project management skills.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impresses me the most about TetaLab is the quality of their work. As a Technical Founder, it's rare to find contractors that just "get it", and are able to provide solid, reliable, scalable code for your organization. Taras' team consistently beat my expectations, and made me feel lucky for finding them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something TetaLab could have done differently?

The only suggestion and hope I have is that TetaLab continues to grow so that their offerings increase, especially across web development/backend development and design, where they have started to excel. I have no doubt that they will continue to grow and impress all of their clients along the way.

We've start working on specific budget projects than with time we switched to time & materials. TetaLab delivered on time or if there was a delay it was justified. We have regular meetings and specific one when needed. They completely understand my needs and answer to them perfectly.

At the beginning of our collaboration, the test part could be improved. We exchanged on this subject and they have greatly improved this part by having resources dedicated to this subject.

At the beginning of app development we had some confusions in expectations of deliverables functionality due to gaps of requirements specification from our side. However, after first iteration we discussed it deeper and we quickly aligned expectations.
