BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of Anders Automotive in Kansas City. I recently merged with Yorkies Foreign Car services to expand out capabilities.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Tekkii, and what were your goals?

We needed a new website and marketing strategy that let our customers know that the company we aquired was not going away, but was instead merging with us to deliver better quality. People were very loyal to Yorkie's and we couldn't mess that up.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

It came down to choosing between two companies. One leaned. More towards graphic design while the other was full on website and marketing. We went with the latter which was Tekkii.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

We had three conversatiins before starting. The owner did a good job asking questions and discovering different strategies to help us come across as honest and trustworthy. They took full control of the website's design because we didn't have any input there, what they came up with was awesome! Afterwards, the fixed our online presence and old addresses online, then perforned SEO to get our phones ringing.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There was a project manager and three others. One did the design, one did the content, the third did the SEO updates.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our phones have been ringing off the hook and we regularly are booked weeks in advance. We have to turn down jobs and are much more selective with who we work with so we can be more specialty. Our site makes us look like one of the best shops in town because we are.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager visited our shop to go over progress every 2 weeks. It helps that they weren't far away, but still i was impressed by that. Others on their team sent emails and thinfs for me to review during the website building.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think their knowledge was my favorite aspect. Everyone i spoke with on their team knew their stuff and they helped me understand why being online is important. They don't make big promises, but they always deliver big results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish that they would've included us a bit more in the design planning. I love what they came up with but I think some of our ideas would have stopped us from adding in a few extra things later down the road since we might have had a chance to brainstorm them at the beginning. I don't know.
