What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Every time techprostudio makes a serious update, which is a couple of times per week, they’ll push the update on TestFlight, which is how we review their work. We test everything and make sure it’s working as expected.
Overall, the engagement has been extremely positive. Alex has an incredible ability to run with ambiguity, and the fact that he can keep up with our rapidly changing needs as a startup is very unique. He hadn’t worked with Flutter before, but he learned it in order to deliver on this project.
The work itself is very solid: techprostudio works hard to get all the details right, down to every pixel. That level of dedication has been beyond our expectations. We’re quite impressed, and we’re looking to keep techprostudio on board for as long as possible.
How did techprostudio perform from a project management standpoint?
During the development sprints, we had daily check-ins with Alex, where he would tell us what he needed more or less of, and what he needed our developer on our end to do.
When we have our sit-downs with him, if we run into a problem, he will suggest ways of solving a problem and ask if we are okay going with a specific solution, which I appreciate. He is also extremely personable, super easy to work with, and we’ve never had a problem with communication. He’s met every deadline and is very transparent with his hours.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve worked with a couple of companies before where we had to make sure that we delivered everything with proper documentation. I was very concerned initially and was basically preparing myself for a little bit of a letdown, because we just didn’t have the muscle power to do that type of handover to the developer.
In this case, it ended up being better than expected despite it being a fairly limited handover. We ended up being pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There haven’t really been any challenges. The solutions techprostudio comes up with are excellent.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to how techprostudio wants to approach the challenge. With Alex, he isn’t just a resource you send documentation over to. He’s someone you’ll want to bring in and have as part of your team. I truly believe that’s how you’ll get the most out of techprostudio.
