I am the Founder & CEO of Virtuous AI, a platform for developing Fair and Explainable AI.

For what projects/services did your company hire Techivies Solutions, and what were your goals?

We needed to develop a new platform from the ground up. We needed consulting to help us choose the infrastructure as well as develop the MVP. We still use their services.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found Techivies former as a higher ranked business from Freelancer.com (before they branded as Techivies). I interviewed multiple other candidates but Amit's architectural solution seemed to make more sense than the other candidates.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Amit proposed his suggested solution to our problem with justifications why he chose the proposed architecture. They later developed the MVP. Subsequently they iterated for about a year until everything was perfect. I actually had multiple websites that I developed with them that went throughout this process. They developed the following for these websites: landing page, various dashboards, chat flows, event analytics tracking, user generated data management, email chains.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

cloud.virtuousai.com. They did a really good job at the end of the day.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Trello, Skype (video calls), Slack, Github, Gitlab. We create Trello cards with priority and talk about points before they start them. They picked up pace once they got back in office after I complained a couple times (during COVID). Their responses are basically immediate on IST with Amit becoming responsive at 5 am IST.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

When I noticed problems, I was very vocal and they were very responsive. They scale up and down if you give them advanced notice which is extremely helpful because it accommodates your budget.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I really don't have much improvements to suggest except for price. I think they could be more economic given their low expenses but the quality is good comparatively considering competitive prices in California.

Our chrome extension was majorly faulty and after many developers working on it there was no documentation or organisation. We needed major development and also refactoring, for backend and also front end. We also had issues with our website that needed updating

We had good conversations regarding the project spec and also they made good observations when they were doing their initial evaluation

We had several meeting to discuss the current project as well as the new scope. We had much back and forth with past developers to pass on materials to ensure they had every detail they needed to fully understand the project

Amit was my main point of contact and his team consisted of ashish and Rahul who were the developers in the project

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The general feedback I gotten from user testing is the UI is much better in style and also in how it functions, much smoother and loading is faster. Including the adding of finer details that make the user experience much better. The negative feedback in user research decreased by 80% from previous versions

They were extremely organised and always sent me updates, we also had regular meeting if they had any concerns they would always communicate with me

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a diverse skillset, and they are able to help me with things outside of the scope and also they added much of their own time to help me with things above their time/spec which I really appreciate because I am a lone founder

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They work well, I have no feedback but all the positives
