What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2018 and wrapped up in December 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The quality was good. For the first version, I was able to participate in bug testing and monitor their progress throughout the entire process. My input was always well received, and the team was good at taking care of bugs. The code is very tidy, and they worked to improve its efficiency. Overall, the team did a strong job from start to finish.

How did Techbit Solutions Pvt. Ltd.perform from a project management standpoint?

Since it was a complicated coding job, we set approximate deadlines. Sometimes they would finish ahead of time, sometimes it would take a bit longer. Anytime I needed to speak with the project manager or the team, I was able to get to them immediately. The only real challenge we experienced was our time difference.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I felt that they really wanted the project to succeed on my end. They were truly invested in my success.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was a bit of a language barrier, so it took a couple of different times to explain what I was looking for in terms of functionality. It’s understandable though, with the scope of the project we were tackling. There are just so many different functions built-in.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to maintain an open line of communication with the project manager.

We have a construction company who deals with customer homes single and double story. I work as a Business Development consultant here to smooth line all the existing processes and automate them by implementing software.

To automate the external and internal construction processes we hired Techbit after doing a number of interview and POC's. Finally, we believed that TB can deliver what we need and we assigned them the project.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals are to bring every manual process into software and make sure none of the steps is missed. As it a process of around 100 steps to accomplish a house build we always face trouble when we used to do it manually. But we want to get the result in a faced manner so that we can have more confidence that the software will resolve our issues which in fact worked well as TB team was very good to deliver small milestones and we are moving at a very good pace.

One of our existing software vendor consultant referred us to this company and we took a number of interview and POC before we finalized the project with them.

We hired them to create a customized Cloud Based software for us to be used at various location. They provided us from business analysis to software development, deployment, and maintenance.

What was the team composition?

We involved three resources in the beginning but now we have five full-time resources.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

In the last six months we are able to automate our sales, construction and after handover processes. These deliveries have a great impact on our business and efficiency has gone beyond expectation. Each of our staff now can do more work and doesn't feel the same pressure as we do before this software. Management has also become more confident in scaling our construction business based on this software capability.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We had online meetings and then they send us detailed requirement docs. Once we verify they present us the deadlines and testing times. Most of the time we use Google Hangouts and Skype for our meetings. They were precise and very fast in getting us back to for all our queries and issues in the software.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their approach to understanding our business processes and problems. And they are always willing to present a couple of options for us to choose one of them. We love the way the whole team works and make our life so easy.

I don't think as far now we very much happy with their services, timeline, and quality work.

Our company offers asset and warehouse services to customers in the Oklahoma region.

Our asset management software was not rectified and we needed some good enhancements for user engagement. Techbit had already worked with 16bit RFID integration and cloud environments which lead us to ink the contract.

What were your goals for this project?

Our need was a cloud-based asset management system designed for us which can then be sold to third-party logistics companies to manage multiple customers, processes, and billing schedules. We also required mobile applications for different users to automate the business backend process, which was very well handled by Techbit.

How did you select this vendor?

They updated our old school asset management software with the latest technologies, enabling access to real-time information and providing integrations with warehouse management technologies, including EDI, barcode scanning, and e-commerce shopping carts. The updated software's scalability now helps us to manage different stock levels in warehouses, streamline our business, and satisfy our customers.

Techbit enhanced our application, taking it to the next level and making it a more intelligent product with a user-friendly interface. They built hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android which helps in terms of making work easier where most of such work was done by cold call or manually.

It was a team of four developers, one designer, and one tester.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We've seen an instant rise in our ROI and we can now effectively manage our resources with record management of assets, which was our major goal. Everyone is pleased with the results of Techbit's work. It's great to finally see how the conceptualization of the idea turned into a productive, intelligent software solving all our backend business problems.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was properly documented and allocated in a timely manner. I was provided with daily status updates by the team to make sure everything was working fine. I can check on which tasks which have been delivered by the team too.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Team's commitment and dedication were outstanding. Techbit didn't just finish the project, they did it correctly where I never got a chance to correct anything. They're cost-efficient too, which is one reason why we continue to work with Techbit.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I don't see any scope of improvement as we never meet any issues while working with Techbit. These guys are very helpful, organized, cooperative and sometimes keep themselves available in hours of needs on weekends.
