I'm the CEO of Lambda Traders, an e-commerce platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tech Versatile?

We hired them to develop our mobile app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tech Versatile is in charge of our app design and development efforts, and they're specifically working on our waiterless system for restaurant owners and consumers. I shared our idea with their team, and they set up a meeting. Then, they turned our ideas into a design. 

After they’ve created our app design, we've had a one-week break before going forward with the development work. The app isn’t live yet and we’re going to pitch it at an exhibition. We’re also working on branding, marketing, and a few other things before launching.

We only speak with their owner and project manager.

How did you come to work with Tech Versatile?

A friend of mine had worked with Tech Versatile in the past and told me all about them. They were a smaller team back then, but they were able to expand. My friend had five apps developed by Tech Versatile so I was pretty sure that they could make my idea happen. As a result, I called them for my project.

We've invested $40,000–$45,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership began in December 2020. We’ve had a four-month break, and they've just completed their part last month.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve had a great experience with Tech Versatile, and the designs they’ve produced have gone beyond my expectations. Since I wasn't an expert at checking the backend of an app, I've hired a different team that is composed of two senior developers from Saudi Arabia to review the work Tech Versatile completed;  in their opinion, everything has turned out fine after examining our app's code quality.

How did Tech Versatile perform from a project management standpoint?

Tech Versatile is amazing from a project management perspective and the delays have been from my side. They’re very cooperative and even after my delays, they’ve been able to deploy everything before schedule.

We’re using Slack, Google Meet, and email for communication as well as Trello for project management. In doing so, we’ve been able to see what features they’ve completed, what features they’re still developing, and what work is still pending. Their project manager is also one call away from me and has provided weekly updates along with releases that we can test on the TestFlight app.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We trust them, and they offer budget-friendly services. They have very nice people in charge of the project. On top of that, their owner and project manager are available to me 24/7. I’ve tried hiring someone from Upwork, but they charge more than what Tech Versatile has offered us. Overall, their cost-effective services are really impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they need to improve. They’re responsive, and they deliver releases ahead of time. Overall, everything’s great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t go anywhere else, and go to Tech Versatile. I highly recommend them.
