TCF Team has contributed to our global visibility through price analysis, market analysis, concept validation, global marketing, and ad optimization.

We needed to scale our marketing efforts, further validate our concept, and identify our customer on a granular level.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TCF Team handled our entire prelaunch phase, including creating ad assets and managing customer preorders and subscriptions. They also designed our Kickstarter landing page, identified marketing partners, and developed our social media content and schedule. Additionally, they conducted PR outreach and managed copy and design across assets. The team also provided strategic planning against social media censorship.

We worked with around 15 teammates from TCF Team.

I found TCF Team through a referral via Kickstarter. I spoke to the founder of another company in the sexual wellness industry. They had good things to say about TCF Team and their outstanding campaign results.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February–June 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Unfortunately, we were unable to scale the way we anticipated, given our pre-launch results. Our initial goal on Kickstarter was $1 million, and we achieved 10% of that goal.

How did TCF Team perform from a project management standpoint?

TCF Team's communication via Slack was great, and they considered all of our suggestions to make the campaign stronger. The team delivered on time and responded well to our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

TCF Team was wonderful to work with despite our marketing hiccups.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have anticipated censorship roadblocks ahead of the go-live date. The team wasn't completely prepared to adjust and scale our marketing efforts once our ad accounts were banned. They didn't anticipate having issues, and it was the campaign's downfall. During the campaign, the team worked extremely hard to pivot however, it should have been considered long before the project went live.

Our project got featured on websites with high monthly visits, including Yahoo, MSN, MediaNotebook Check, Liliputing, Trend Hunter, China Gadgets, and CGMag. They all mentioned our product and Kickstarter campaign. We had a sheet recording the PR list. The actual result was hard to measure, but it was helpful.
