Tasty Placement was contracted to increase our organic traffic, including improving our social media profiles, improving technical SEO, keyword research, backlink building, etc.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We abruptly ended our Tasty Placement contract after discovering the following: 

1. They were paying for bot followers. I confronted them with our concern that the followers were fake, and they admitted it. They said it's a good way to seed a new Facebook page. It is not. 
2. The keyword research they did was extremely basic, no better than a download from ahrefs 
3. The backlinks they built were very low quality on spammy sites, mommy blogs and low quality directory sites. We ended up having to pay a service to remove them. 
4. We tracked their login to our Magento website backend using an audit logger. We discovered that in the period of 5 weeks, they had logged in twice and added just 2 internal links and tweaked a setting. 

This was the full scope of their technical work for 5 weeks. We have a long list of complaints and failures to do work, but that is the crux of it. After approaching Tasty Placement and informing them of the above (plus more), they agreed to terminate services but offered no apologies.

There was nothing impressive about them.

They could have done the work they were contracted to do.
