Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and CEO of SRC Global, a consulting agency based in Atlanta.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tanless?

We had multiple clients we were doing RFPs for, and I was hitting a brick wall trying to solve them from technical, marketing, and creative standpoints. Sometimes, we didn’t have the in-house solutions, so we engaged Tanless to take on that work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tanless provides web development and marketing services for our clients. For each project, we first set up a plan of attack, determine the first steps, and sign the paperwork, including NDAs and referral agreements. Some projects have briefs, guidelines, or proposals we've put together. Other times, the team comes up with creative proposals for the end client. 

The team has built sites on WordPress or other CMS-based systems, using the tools necessary for clients' specs. They've built most sites from scratch. For example, they built a marketing website for a sports betting client based on a sparse description. They collected daily and weekly feedback and created a data tracking and analysis site, a landing page, and a call to action to promote the client's app. 

Usually, they bundle other services with the website, including SEO, SEM, advertising integrations, and text message marketing. When it comes to SEO, we give them a rough idea, and they handle keyword research. They've also done integrations with digital signal processing (DSP). Currently, Tankless is working on an NFT minting site for another client, and they're also building the solution from scratch. 

What is the team composition?

I work directly with the two co-founders.

How did you come to work with Tanless?

I knew the co-founders from previous roles in other companies. I reached out to Tanless and set up an intro call. We laid everything out, and they made notes and created takeaway actions. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent upwards of $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our measure of Tanless’ success is whether our clients are happy, and that’s always been the case — if the client is happy, I’m happy. We’ve also seen growth across our social channels since working with them, including on Discord. We can give the team rough guidelines, and the team researches and builds things out. Every time they hand in something, they provide research materials so that we understand why they’ve done it that way.

How did Tanless perform from a project management standpoint?

Both co-founders show up to every call with every client and take on everything we need them to. The entire team is always present and willing to answer questions or hop on a call pretty much every hour every step of the way. 

We use Notion, HubSpot, and Jira for project management on the technical side. They’ve also used a combination of Asana and Trello. As for communication, we’ve used Zoom, Google Meet, email, Discord, and recently Telegram with our crypto client. The team has been willing to make Telegram accounts to meet my client where they’re most comfortable. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What differentiates Tanless from other providers is their background. On the technical side, they’ve worked with major companies. They also have experience with brands and verticals that people don’t touch, including cannabis and gaming. Moreover, they offer personalized and hands-on services while also being punctual and straightforward. They embrace how things change and move and are willing to take risks with the client, which is very refreshing. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re underutilizing what they have and will need to expand at some point. They’re a small team, and the co-founders are transitioning into account management, which is good because they can focus on growing the business. 

We’ve had growing pains on the technical side as we’ve tried to figure out things for clients, so we’ve needed them to expand the technical scope. Beyond that, we’ve had no hiccups with them — they’ve crushed it.

Whether you’re a small business or a large company, have a conversation with Tanless and see what they can do for you. Nine times out of 10, they’ll find a solution for you.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am an MD, DDS, and private practice owner of an Oral & Maxillofacial and cosmetic surgery center and med spa.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tanless Agency, and what were your goals?

Our previous website had been designed almost 15 years ago and was outdated. Our goal was to improve visibility on Google, improve user experience, and offer an online store.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a local agency who could help us with our website and photography needs.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a kick-off call where we explained what our goals were with creating a new website, which was to allow for customers to navigate our website easier, sell products online, and book appointments. We also wanted to use a system that would allow for our non-technical employees to make simple website edits as needed. Tanless scoped our needs and set us up with a Shopify that had everything we were looking for.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with two team members, Michael and Matt. Matt came into our office and took our staff photos for the website and handled all of the website's creative aspects while Michael helped set up analytics and SEO best practices as well as how to check these things ourselves moving forward.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have seen a 55% increase in leads and significant increase in our "contact us" page

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We met weekly for 4 weeks Via Zoom to discuss on-going progress as well as twice in-person. The rest of the communication was through email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their attention to detail and the passion they have for the work were outstanding!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are very happy with our website and will be working with the team in the future on all our digital marketing needs!
