The primary milestone on this project was to have the website designed and developed by the date of my new book release on May 14th and they were successful in doing so. Their support and seamless communication throughout the process helped to make this an enjoyable and greatly satisfying experience.

The team's dedication, expertise, creativity, diligence, and clear understanding of what I visualized were impressive and made the collaborative process very rewarding.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Swapps could have done differently?

No. However, now that we have had the opportunity to work together on this website project, I anticipate the process will proceed even more efficiently and smoother than before.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We regulates the architecture practice by administering an comprehensive exam and tracking experience hours as licensure candidates work towards licensure. We also provides a certificate to architects which helps them receive reciprocity to practice in other states. I am our Marketing and Communications team's Senior Digital Marketer, and one of my focuses is liaising with web developers to make improvements to our digital properties.

For what projects/services did your company hire Swapps, and what were your goals?

We hired Swapps to lead a website refresh and provide ongoing web enhancements/maintenance. We have also used Swapps for discreet projects, such as developing microsites for some projects.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

For the website redevelopment:

1. We provided designs to Swapps to iterate off of and offer any UX feedback.
2. Swapps built out initial versions of the updated pages, and we submitted tickets via Clickup with our first round of edits.
3. Swapps demo'd the changes between Drupal 7 and Drupal 9.
4. We continued the QA process on each page using Clickup
5. Swapps set the website live and we did a final QA

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Three people worked with us while I've been at the organization (Jose, Karen, and Andres).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

• Swapps completed migrating our website from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9, and made some updates to the look and feel of the website successfully.
• Swapps updated the Analysis of Practice website successfully

Swapps meets with us weekly to go over new changes, and they use Clickup to manage any tickets on ongoing work in the meantime. They are relatively responsive through Slack outside of meetings (always respond within a day, and usually within a few hours).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciated Swapps' positive attitude and patience as we have requested many changes across all our projects! They also seem very competent and well versed in the changes we need to our website.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I feel that the items we wanted to prioritize as urgent/high priority did not often rise to the top of the list unless we were very explicit about it (multiple reminders). We have a flagging system in Clickup but it doesn't always feel like they adhere to it unless we reiterate and write down what the order of priorities should be.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Swapps provided me a clear path and technical roadmap to build, test and implement the MVP of our app.  The team was very open minded and patient while I formlized my non-technical vison into a working technical solution.  Lter changes were addressed with priority.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

I was very impressed with Swapps organization of the deliverables, very aware of scope, and excellent communication.  Sprints were executed on time and within budget, followed by a thorough report that was easy to understand.  Testing on my part happended more at the end so things were missed during Sprint testing, but Swapps wasn't phased at all and stepped up to ensure all issues were addressed right away.  10/10 on project management

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Swapps is a smaller operation that was very repsonsive to my needs.  Every member of their team was very professional and conscientious about their work.  The owner empoers his team and so regardless of who I was interacting with, the results were consistent and met all of my expectations.

None that I can think of . I was very impressed with all aspects of my dealings with Swapps.
