I’m the owner of Flowers by Catherine. I’m a florist.

What challenge were you trying to address with Streamwork Marketing?

My website wasn’t working for my business, so I needed it to be rebuilt.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

At the start of the engagement, I had calls with David (Owner) and Mat (Owner) to outline exactly what I wanted to do and achieve. They broke my goals for the site down into short-, medium-, and long-term, and advised me on the best route to go. 

The site is built on WordPress, and it’s very tailored to what I need. We’ve also had conversations about things we can do down the line with Google Analytics, MailChimp, and e-commerce in general. 

What is the team composition?

My initial call was with David, and all of my dealings since then have been with Mat.

How did you come to work with Streamwork Marketing?

I looked online at other florists’ websites, and there was one I particularly liked. I saw Streamwork had done it, so I contacted them for an exploratory call. We discussed what they could do for my company specifically, as opposed to them giving me an off the shelf solution, which I’d received from my previous provider. 

How much have you invested with them?

Overall, I’ve spent about £1,600 (approximately $2,100 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2020. The website is built and ready to go live, I’m just continuing to tweak some content. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website hasn’t launched yet, but once it goes live I’ll be able to track metrics. However, I’ve been very pleased with Streamwork’s tailored services. 

How did Streamwork Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done a great job with project management. Mat has been very responsive, he follows up, and he sticks to deadlines. He’s been very proactive and realistic with what he can and can’t achieve.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Streamwork stands out to me because they were willing to understand my particular business need and how they could help. Mat communicated all the things we could do to improve my business based on my budget. Streamwork really worked with me to achieve what I wanted to achieve. Also, Mat’s technical knowledge is brilliant. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They offered me a blog writing service, and I wasn’t very pleased with the first article they did. I raised my concerns with Mat, and we had a productive converstaion about it. It was the only slight thing that didn’t go very well, but we resolved it quickly and moved forward. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just be open and honest with them about what you want to achieve, and for what budget and timescale. Trust that they’ll put a proposal forward that will meet your needs. Be assured that when you approach Streamwork, you’ll get advice, support, and recommendations that are actually suited to your particular business needs.
