I am the founder if a company dedicated to providing web app for streamers.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Story | UX Design + Web Development, and what were your goals?
We ended our cooperation with Software House and we were looking for a new one that would allow us to develop the product. Finding a new contractor was not easy, because our product is based on a very unique technological stack.
We use Symfony (PHP) and the front-end has been coded in React. In addition, we are integrated with very diverse payment systems. We offer financial services and were looking for a company that has fintech experience. We went through a lot of offers and one of the best ones that suited us was The Story one. This is how it started.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
They have appropriate, very rare competences and experience and have offered us the best offer. For these reasons, we entrusted them with the development of our project.

In short: we've been working to keep the app running. We wanted to avoid a situation in which our development would reduce the quality of the services provided. We want to develop, acquire new customers and keep the existing ones.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
There were no unpleasant surprises. The Story stabilized the operation of the application, corrected errors, is in the process of migrating the application to AWS Cloud. With their help, we implement new functionalities in the application.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Story | UX Design + Software development?
We needed a partner who would complete a very demanding task for us. MyCashFlow is a fintech application that had to obtain a license from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) as one of the first third-party providers operating on the basis of PSD2 in Poland.
Therefore, the architecture of the system had to not only work flawlessly and effectively but also be secure and meet the requirements of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. The Story designed the architecture based on AWS Cloud services and also created the Software Requirements Specification (SRS) in which they described all the system requirements.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The Story is a design and custom software company that has a very wide range of competencies and experiences. Moreover, we have already had the opportunity to cooperate. They proved themselves so we decided to continue our cooperation. We made the decision in a very natural way, without any worries.

We worked with the scrum method, in sprints.

In this project, we collaborated with a business analyst, solution architect, security expert and lead developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The architecture and SRS created by The Story allowed developers to quickly and easily create an application. They knew exactly what and how to code, what AWS services to use and how.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Although it was already the 4th joint project, we managed to survive it and end with a happy ending.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Fintech projects are one of the most demanding. Their services were high-level and impressive. Creating an application like MyCashFlow is as difficult as opening a bank. I don't know how they would handle setting up a bank, but they are definitely very good at creating fintech applications.
