The primary focus of this collaboration was to support the development and enhancement of the company's Sensory App, which had already been initiated but required additional development to address critical issues and add essential features. StackOne’s involvement focused on fixing bugs, developing custom functions, and offering expert advice on key app functionalities.

Key Tasks and Deliverables

Bug Fixing and Critical Feature Development

• Textfield Focus Issue: One of the key deliverables was resolving a critical issue with textfield navigation on the app’s main page. StackOne helped reorganize the layout to ensure users could efficiently navigate between textfields while entering data.
• CSV Export Feature: A custom function was developed to enable the export of sensory evaluation data in CSV format, allowing for easy data handling and analysis outside the app.

API Development and Integration:

• R-Based API: StackOne successfully developed an API based on R code which enables the generation of graphs, and integrated it into the Flutterflow Sensory App. 
• API Deployment Support: StackOne provided detailed instructions on how to develop and deploy future APIs, enabling the team to independently create additional data visualizations as needed. This included a written document along with a set of step-by-step instructional videos for further guidance.

Ongoing Support and Expertise:

• Advice and Guidance: StackOne provided valuable technical advice throughout the process to help optimize the app and navigate any challenges.
• Post-Project Support: As part of the agreement, StackOne offered continuous support for the coming months to resolve any issues that may arise and assist with further improvements.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most concrete outcome of the project is a fully functioning and published version of the Sensory App that’s ready to be shared with teammates and piloted with partners. StackOne’s expert guidance has ensured the app is built on a solid foundation, from database management to inclusion of critical  features like CSV export, and confirmed the possibility of R based API integration which opens many opportunities for growth of the app to include advanced data analysis using our library of R scripts. This validation sets the stage for further development, funding discussions, and new features. It also opens the door to building more apps using Flutterflow within the company's Programme, with confidence that future expansion is not only possible but straightforward.

StackOne was prompt and responsive to our needs. They communicated well when any delays arose, which were few. They were also adaptable, stepping in to help with tasks not explicitly outlined in the terms of reference. Their flexibility and willingness to go beyond the initial scope was highly appreciated.

What I found most impressive about StackOne was how easy communication was throughout the project. I always felt comfortable asking questions when I was out of my depth technically, and they were patient in explaining things.

The scope of work involved UI/UX design using Figma. Stackone shared the Figma files and at each milestone provided updates and feedback meetings.

Other tasks involved backend development with Firebase and Frondent development with React. 

Integration with payment gateway to facilitate payments via various sources such as mobile money.

Point of system development which a clean and easy to operate

The team communicates regularly to get approval during the project. This helps to realign the scope of work and refine designs. They are very accessible and ready for meetings. 

They help provide ideas on how execution should be done which is a good thing. 

The delivery time was on point with a concise product as discussed.

In future to have a consolidated stream of communication. We had communication via email, what's app , call etc which can cluster the communication

Having certain deadlines to complete stages of app devlopment such as UI/UX, colours & formatting, and connecting with Apple/Google.

They always delivered items on time and would clealy communicate if it was going to take longer than expected. The project management was very acceptable and flexible as the client.
